I present myself, my name is Simone and am a student of International Studies in The Hague. I am Italian and so I can offer various levels of teaching, from the very basic to the advanced "tools" one can encounter in a formal-talk situation. I am comfortable teaching to children, teenagers, and adults. Feel free to ask any further questions!

Extra information

Students can bring a laptop or a notebook if they feel comfortable for taking some notes and tips. I will provide some Italian books to practice reading and writing.

About Me

I am Simone, currently studying International Studies in The Hague. I love sports but not only, I have many many hobbies like playing music and drawings. I have studied languages since 2007, when I was very young and I have also specialised my highschool study program on languages. I think multiple interests and good language skills can be combined together in order to create a study environment that is not boring but vivid and alive, that can be enjoyed by the student and also by the teacher.

Education

During the middle school I entered the conservatory, playing the bassoon for the local orchestra. Successively I choose to focus on languages, which allowed to get my high-school diploma and certifications in English and German. Currently I am studying in Leiden University in The Hague

• Voluntary work experiences with children in Albania, Italy and Ireland
• Scouting in the Italian local group as a chief for the younger members
• Had the chance to take part into a project of cooperation with mentally ill patients of a local hospital, doing activities such as painting, cooking, harvesting the land and so forth.

In our first class, I will discuss with you what you want to focus on (conversation, grammar, vocabulary, etc.) and we will design together the course. I do believe that tailored classes are way more efficient. Italian and Indonesian are not widely spoken languages, however, both the Italian and Indonesian community are spread across the world and I have noticed that many are the mixed Italian and Indonesian families living in the Hague!

My classes are not special, they are simply meant for children and adults who wish to have someone who they can talk to and improve either Italian or Indonesian. My classes will “offer” you a friend who can stimulate you to speak the language and learn the everyday language without being particularly ambitious.
