Hello parents! My name is Sandra. I am a native English speaker from New York State. I have a USA teaching license and a Bachelor's Degree in Childhood Inclusive Education (Grades K-6 and Students with Disabilities) from the State University of New York at Fredonia. My experiences include teaching at primary international schools in Belgrade, Serbia for 2 years and 3 years at international schools in The Hague, Netherlands. I have worked at two IB primary schools. Alongside teaching at international schools, I have 8 years of experience teaching English. I also have experience teaching grade 1 and 3 in elementary schools in New York State. I have taught children from 2-17 years old and adults. My students range in levels from beginners who are new to learning English, to fluent English speakers that need support or would like to further excel or maintain their fluency. Subjects that interest the student such as science, history or world topics can be incorporated into the lesson to broaden their knowledge. Support can also be provided in learning organizational skills, research, and mini projects for older children. I am available to help with studying, homework, or school projects. For online learning, I use a variety of platforms, websites, educational games, and e-books to reach the learning goals of my students. Additional homework can be provided if requested. Hi I am 20 years old and am currently a student at Leiden University doing a bachelor of sciences in environmental sustainability. I completed my A levels in Maths, Physics and Biology with grades A in Maths and Biology. I also did an AS level in Chemistry from the British School in the Netherlands. I love science and geography and did my primary education in English and got all grade 9s in my science and geography GCSEs and a grade 8 in Maths. I am a student of singing at the Royal Conservatory in the Hague. As a bilingual Uni student, I would like to offer English and Czech conversation classes because I think that speaking is key for learning and maintaining a language. My goal for the child is to become more confident in the language that they ́re learning and for them to be able to speak freely about multiple topics. English is a language every European should know, plus I will be able to teach your child how to speak with a British accent (as I was brought up in an English private school). I have obtained a Czech High School Diploma. My Czech class is for children who have some knowledge of Czech and want to improve their communication skills so that they can communicate easily with their Czech family and friends!
