In my classes, my focus is on helping the student master the English Language by helping the student build confidence. Confidence is built through quality preparation and broad learning or reading.

I am Ghanaian and a first-class graduate of English and French from the University of Ghana.
I love teaching and my focus is on helping my students express themselves fluently in English.

I have 5 years of teaching experience. I have been conducting home lessons for students since my senior high school days in 2012.
I have taught English at Lingua Institute and in Love Foundation International School in Abidjan ( Ivory Coast)
I have learnt with experience the importance of repetition and constant practice in teaching and learning.
The teacher must constantly take time to take a pupil or student through a particular topic systematically and patiently till the pupil or student has mastered every aspect of the topic being taught. No need to hurry the student through a topic.
The student on the other hand must constantly revise notes given by teacher and practice a lot. Where child is too young to independently ino this, parents must assist the child.
Teacher, parent and student all have a role to play in the overall academic success.

This class is geared towards polishing the reading skills of students as well as boost their confidence in expressing themselves in English.
Aside pronunciations and spelling, we put our skills to test in dialogues performed at home or in class.
In Abidjan for instance, many people interested in learning English also have some basics from the classroom. For instance, the can say hello, how are you and perhaps the days of the week.
However, their major challenge is holding a conversation in English for long. And when they speak, the French accent is very heavy on their English.
Th same problem applies to anglophone children born in French-speaking countries. If parents do not consciously speak English with their kids, they tend to lose touch with English Language with time.
