I will be holding classes for ESL in the Glasgow area. I have over three years of in-classroom experience, including two years working full time at a high school in Japan. I can tailor my classes to meet student's needs and can cover grammar, vocabulary, British English and conversation classes.

I'm patient and approachable and I have a genuine passion for teaching.I hold an MA degree 2:1 in English Literature, and a MLitt in Celtic Studies (History), I currently also work for Glasgow University as an external tutor.

I am a native-English speaker with a degree and a CELTA certificate. I have just spent a year teaching English in Belgium, and was able to form special and lasting relationships with my students there. I specialise in teaching English to older students and adults, from pre-intermediate to upper-intermediate levels. My teaching focuses on contextualising English in a useful way, so that the language can be most successfully used in real life. I keep my lessons entertaining and use lots of student-focused communicative practice. I am also able to offer support with more specific areas such as CVs and written work, proofreading and job interview preparation. I am a friendly, supportive and dedicated teacher :)
