English courses for beginners / middle / advanced + preparation for exams (oral / written)

At this time, almost the end of the year, we are slowly approaching the CFC exam period. This is why I would like to share my help in preparing you for these exams that you will have at the end of the year. So I help with oral exams in French, German and English. Having myself graduated in 2022, I am perfectly able to support you on this final stretch.

I am a Belgian (Flemish) and French student who has recently completed a Master's degree in International Law at the University of Amsterdam. I completed my Bachelor's degree in International Relations at the University of Geneva (magna cum laude) and also spent six months on exchange at UCSB (University of California, Santa Barbara). Additionally, I attended an international high school in France for my secondary education, where I specialized in sciences and achieved a score of 18/20 on the final scientific baccalaureate. The classes at this school were taught in French, english, dutch, and spanish. Here is an overview of my previous tutoring experience: 2021/2022: I worked at "bijlesthuis," a Dutch tutoring institution, where I primarily taught french, dutch, and english to adult learners seeking to improve their language skills. During the same period, I also provided classes to other students through Apprentus. 2021: Through Apprentus and other websites, I assisted several younger students (ages 5-15) in Bern and Geneva, helping them improve their skills in subjects such as math and french. 2017/2020: I worked for three years at a tutoring institution in Geneva called ARA, where I primarily taught french, mathematics, and english. During this time, I also spent two years working at a private school called Florimont, where I supported students aged 11-16 across various subjects by assisting them with their homework. I can teach French, Dutch, and English, and I thoroughly enjoy teaching and assisting students in their progress and acquisition of new skills. As a person, I am flexible, calm, and positive. Language learning is often considered to be difficult and boring. During my classes, I offer a lot of interactions through various situations which allow us to imagine contexts that are familiar to us and to benefit more from learning. I also suggest analyzing short videos or music by taking notes as well as games adapted to the age of the person which stimulate interest in the course. Myself, having difficulties learning languages at the start of my adolescence, I was able to create methods to adapt and facilitate the understanding of the construction of languages that I like to transmit to my students. My students are often surprised by their productivity during the course and the number of different things learned in a short time.
