About the Lesson: Are you a music enthusiast that wants to start learning how to play? Are you an already good player but you want to further develop your skills? In these lessons, we will create a curriculum together, based on your wishes, needs and musical taste. Our goal is for you to be able to express yourself through your instrument. I'm River- an American musician living and teaching in Amsterdam. I have a Master's Degree in Jazz Bass Performance from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and 10 years teaching experience with all ages. I play both electric and double bass across many genres- Classical, Jazz, Rock, Pop, Folk, and more! I am a double bass player based in the city of Leuven. I recently obtained my third master in music in double bass at the LUCA School of Arts – Campus Lemmens. I am currently working as a double bass tutti in the Brussels Philharmonic and i am the bass player of the ensembleDRE. As a double bass player i have played in different amateurs and young Orchestras like NJO, the junge-deutsch franzosische philarmonie and Futurorchestra, and with professional Orchestras like Casco Phil and Ataneres Ensemble. As a teacher i have taught pop music and electric bass in Italy. Through my experiences , concerning different kinds of music, i would like to approach the double bass and/or electric bass to people of any age. At the same time, I can offer clearly structured lessons to students of any age, interested in classical music repertoire but also in other genres as pop and rock. Lord hey he studied with Clemens van der Feen, Janos Bruneel, Gulli Gudmundsson and Jean-Paul Everts. He is currently a master student at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. He is active in the dutch and Italian jazz scenes playing in clubs, neck, and festivals with many different projects. He also studied with Frans van der Hoeven, Ernst Glerum, Marco Siniscalco, Andrea Pighi, Jarmo Hoogendijk, Eric Ineke, Roelof Meijer. Since 2015 he is a member of the staff o the Fara Music Festival.

Start or continue double bass lessons with a professional and fun teacher! I'm a classical double bassists (Bachelor degree 2019; Master's degree 2021) based in Copenhagen, who loves teaching. Depending on your interests and needs I can teach basic or advanced technique. We can focus on easy and fun tunes or classical bass repertoire based on your level. I can also teach orchestral bass repertoire (I have some students who play in orchestras and need tips, fingerings etc to make the orchestra rehearsal and concerts even smoother!). My name is Andrea , I am a professional double bass player who obtained the Master Degree in classical Double Bass at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. I am active as a Double Bass player in different orchestras and ensembles, having the chance to perform in the most famous theathers of The Netherlands. Active not only as a Double Bass player but also really strong preparation with bass guitar, recently I published my research "The bass guitar in the contemporary music" for the Society of Artistic Research.
