I am Lisa from Rostock, Germany. I have been living in Athens since 2016, now married and with child.
I believe keep learning is important in life in order to debelop, experiment with new things keeps you alive and makes life more worthy to live.

Learning a language is like learning how to ride a bike. The first steps are the hardest and need much guiding. There are a lot of stepping stones and ways to fall. Later on it becomes easier, but on the other hand the language grows and the opportunities of use are widening. I offer German and English classes for beginners and advanced students.
Furthermore I offer classes in Philosophy in both languages to deepen the language and deepen the knowledge and use of the given language. The classes can be structured in likes of the needs and the strengths of the student, as I am experienced in teaching abroad as well as different age groups and levels.

Former law student, I am currently taking a gap year before studying languages to become a translator or interpreter. Indeed, it has always been my passion to learn new languages, because in my opinion, there is no better way to reward yourself of new knowledges that can always turn out to be an undeniable advantage, both on the personal and professional aspect. As I have learnt 5 languages by myself (English, Norwegian, Italian, Danish and a bit of Greek), I thought it would be an unique experience to teach my mother-tongue to people who are, just like me, willing to learn and improve their communication skills. I have previously given English lessons, and I have been a volunteer translator for an association in Paris (mostly for legal documents). My teaching method is based on everyone's needs, regardless of the level. The purpose is make you feel more comfortable with French, which as tough as it can seem to be at first, is beautiful and rich. There's no better feeling than being proud of yourself while finally being able to speak a foreign language, and that's precisely that pride that I want to make you feel.

I give a Spanish course to both children and adults who wish to learn the language from a young Spanish in a didactic way through books that they want to follow, as well as materials such as books or songs that I will give them and recommend to do the classes more enjoyable.
