Hello, my name is Chantal Jan du Chêne, I'm 16 years old. I am currently in 2nd year at the School of General Culture of Freiburg. I offer homework help to primary school students who have difficulty with certain homework or school classes.

I offer classes on History, Geography, and Political Science, with over 11 years' of experience in these subjects, both professionally and academically. I hold Bachelor's Degrees in both History and Political Science (from the University of Florida), as well as a Master's in Political Science, specifically European Politics (from KU Leuven). I have extensive experience in a wide range of historical and political subjects and have always had a keen interest in history and the social sciences. Additionally, previously I have been a journalist (dealing with Competition Law) and currently am an editor working on a wide variety of subjects for organizations such as the UNHCR and Goethe Institut, among others. I am capable of teaching and lecturing on numerous historical and political events and periods in history, with myself having specialized in European history, American history, African history, as well as the Medieval period and Antiquity.

This is a class to get a 360 understanding of what is the European Union: origins, institutions, challenges, its place in the international system, its key legal texts. It is a perfect introduction to the topic for young people and adults.

We will be focusing on history and the important human connection intertwined with each. This will give us a deeper understanding of the customs we have and seeing how they evolved to our present era.
