This class will focus on establishing core piano performance techniques and a ground knowledge of music theory. Whether your goal is to work towards taking ABRSM Prep Test/grades, or you're simply looking for a new hobby, these lessons will set you on your way to becoming a competent piano player, whatever your preferred style. Topics covered include: piano layout, finger exercises, sight reading, score analysis and music theory essentials.

Having recently been contracted to perform piano on a cruise ship before covid-19, I am now offering piano tuition for all ages and abilities in London! Whether you are just starting out or have experience, these lessons will be tailored to your needs and allow you to achieve your goals, whilst remaining flexible and hands-on.

Notable appearances include a performance for HM Queen Elizabeth and Duke of Edinburgh in Sherborne Abbey on their Golden Jubilee Your of 2012, playing piano for a One Act Play in Middle Temple, London (2015), Jazz repertoire for a drinks reception in Berkely Square, Mayfair (2016), and various hospitality locations on the South Coast.

Piano Lessons for Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced

I believe lessons should be first and foremost enjoyable, but also serve as a means to break new ground and inspire as much practice as possible at home! So we'll start by establishing an objective of the student's choice that reflects their ambitions, and then work through the appropriate techniques, exercises, and repertoire that allows us to get there in as enjoyable a way as possible!

Lessons will be supplemented with listening/aural exercises, music theory training, and performance/contextual discussions (if necessary!).
