AleksandraPiano&Music Lessons by Aleksandra (Buenos Aires-London-Rotterdam)
Piano, harmony, music theory, aural training, arrangements and composition dedicated teacher. Vast experience with different ages and levels, preparation for international exams, auditions and competitions.
"I am a superior piano professor and I have started teaching in Buenos Aires, Argentina, my home country, 8 years ago. Recently I was living in London, UK, where I worked as a full-time piano teacher in WKMT Piano Institute where I have trained and developed my pedagogic skills working with students from all around the world. This experience allowed me to mentor from professionals to early ages with very diverse backgrounds. These are the kind of experiences worth working for, and that confirm my engagement to my pedagogic aims.
Building structures that fight to give a voice to the speechless is one of the values I learnt to care the most as a working woman, and that is the reason why I feel engaged with teaching music. Music is a tool to learn a whole different language and improve intelligence and creativity, no matter which is your background. Music is a way of finding how to express yourself in a specific language, and it is at the same time a fun and fascinating process. As a music teacher, I face a challenge every time I train a student, because learning music and learning piano implies a very personal developement.
I continued this project in Rotterdam, Netherlands, where I became a Master of Music in World Music (Tango-Jazz Composition) at CODARTS University. I intend to keep sharing my knowledge and experience with new students."

CamiloINTENSIVE PRIVATE LATIN DANCE COURSES (SALSA, BACHATA, MERENGUE, CHACHA, ZOUK ANTILLAIS, KUDURU-AFRICAN DANCE, BRAZILIAN ZOUK)
Private lessons / intensive Latin dance training (Cuban salsa, porto / LA salsa, bachata, merengue, chacha, zouk antillais, African kuduru-dance, Brazilian zouk *)
(* = it's THE dance of the moment that paradoxically has nothing zouk or anything Brazilian - today it's pop music for two, mixing creativity, sensuality, air fluidity that plays a lot with the movements of bust, head and body undulations.)
Learn dance and let talk about your body / emotions, make the difference in the evening ("social dancing") or prepare an event (wedding for example): Focused on pedagogy, technique and pleasure, the dance space offers personalized and individualized courses of Salsa (porto on 1, Cuban), Bachata, Merengue, Kuduru-African dance, Zouk Antillais, Zouk Brazilian (pop music) (...) according to your desires.
Objective: to adapt to your request and your desire. In the eyes of many neophytes, a couple who dance well performs spectacular figures. To dance is to tell / live together a story, to produce beauty in movement and to make the steps, the attitudes and the connections between the various actions aesthetic / harmonious. This fluidity is born of emotion, felt and transmitted.
Simplicity, communication, listening, sharing, emotion, valorization of the other: it is, in addition to technical knowledge (body expression, rhythmic, visual), what you will improve during this training at evolutive levels. In a friendly atmosphere, you will be taken in hand whatever your initial level. Objective: a combination between on the one hand, intuition / feeling / improvisation and on the other hand, technique. It is possible to take the course in couple or solo.
According to your desire, it is possible to propose 70% of a 1st dance, 30% of another complementary dance, the bases of the one influencing the other.
Whether you are preparing a "choreography" for a special event (wedding, birthday, work, etc.), a show or simply looking to improve your skills to impress on the dance floor, the final learning of these courses consists in :
* perform a beautiful interpretation of the music with appropriate movements, in addition to performing a dynamic work that involves a footwork and body movements adapted
* execute an appropriate technique that will allow you to shine quickly on the dance floor, relying on the strong point of private lessons
* Set up style, movement, footwork, and adjusted body coordination, allowing for rapid dance progression, while taking advanced base steps and a variety of movements, allowing you to not only acquire a sensual style but also to improve his own improvisational abilities, focusing on the characteristics of modern dance.
* work on your balance, your musicality, your body strength (...), while having fun, while you train and radically improve the coordination of your body.
In summary, these courses are at the beginner level (basic steps with some general variations), intermediate (faster speed and more concentration on technique, body mechanics, control, footwork, posture, balance and more complex movements) or advanced (for slightly more experienced dancers).
Statistically, the progression following these private sessions, is quickly perceptible, from 2 or 3 sessions *. (* study 2018)
To respond to requests received, it is indeed possible to offer this course (birthday, party, christmas, event ...) to the person of your choice.

DoriLearn How to Dance Cuban Salsa (for beginners or never-danced-before)
Cuban Salsa is one of the greatest dances in the world (in my opinion). It's fun, it's creative and can be mixed with other styles and in various ways. You can dance alone and develop your personal style, in a couple and in a circle (called "rueda").
This class would give you the basics of the Cuban style, which are different from other types of Salsa dances. I put much emphasis on basic steps and movement because my experience taught me that a strong foundation of the basics is a key to advance and feel comfortable while dancing. How to follow and lead are important things to learn in this style (if you with to dance with someone else), and when learned thoroughly can help to develop in other styles as well.
GerardoBandoneon (tango and argentinian music)-Bandoneon technic.
-Play tangos and learn how to build your own arrangments for small ensembles.
-Group laboratory for differents instruments. The goal is to learn how to play in a tango orchestra and also how to make your ensamble sound more in the tango style, traditional and modern.
Different aspects of interpretation when playing solo and when playing in a group (chamber tango music)
IvanCumbia, Salsa, Merengue, Bachata ... without macho words or misogyny
If you want to have fun and learn the basic technique (beginners, and or intermediate level), or just practice if you can already dance.
Like all rhythms in most of the American continent, Cumbia has African origins, but above all indigenous. From the 1940s cumbia began to be more popular in territory currently known as Colombia.
His steps find equivalence in movements of Tai-chi, an ancient martial art known for its self-defense techniques and its health benefits. As an exercise, it combines gentle physical exercise and stretching with mindfulness.
Dancing has relaxation effects, also seems to reduce spiritual pain and in some cases eliminates symptoms of depression.
Come dance Cumbia, Merengue, Bachata, Salsa and even Reggaeton in a safe and inclusive space. Music without chauvinist words or misogyny.
