MaríaCours de violoncelle pour tous! / Cello lessons for everyone! / ¡Clases de Cello para todos! / Cellolessen voor iedereen!
Hello to everyone! My name is María, I am a Venezuelan Cellist. All my musical education was inside the musical program "El Sistema" in Venezuela. This education was based on preparing myself as a better human being though playing cello in orchestras, chamber music and as soloist. I am current studying my Master degree at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel with Jeroen Reuling. In what consist my lessons? Cello classes for all levels (beginner, intermediate and advanced), it does not matter if you have never played cello before or if you are already studying, the important thing is to help you achieve the goals you want with this beautiful instrument. To have better results with practice, if it is necessary to help you with music theory, I will help you. As well, if you're looking for help in orchestral excerpts for auditions, I'm here for you! For kids, parental support is also important during some lesson, we are all a team and we need to work together to achieve the goals! Classes can be in person at your house or mine (just in Brussels, Belgium) or via videocall (Skype, Zoom, etc). The schedules are planned according to the time of the student and the teacher. Looking forward to meeting you and work together! Maria.

JoséElectric guitar lessons, acoustic or music theory.
Passionate, Curious, Open, Professional and Smiling, I am from Mexico. My music career has taken me to several cultural capitals, including London, New York, Brussels and Paris. During my professional life I had the opportunity to perform with recognized jazz musicians such as Brian Lynch or EJ Strickland. I also composed for the National Orchestra of Mexico. My mother being a university teacher, I grew up in an environment where education is valuable. Thus, music and foreign languages are two passions I like to associate: I teach guitar in French, English or Spanish. In my ideals as a teacher, the technical and theoretical aspects of music education should never be a barrier to taste for the associated musical activity and cultural aspect. Seeing the surprise of my students when they discover their potential and their progress is the greatest of my satisfactions as a teacher. My students describe me as patient, efficient, kind and reliable.

ArtaPiano lessons for beginners, intermediates and advanced levels of playing

ChiaraViolin - play beautiful music and learn new skills in a fun and healthy way! French, English, Italian, Spanish
In my classes I aim to transmit first of all my passion and love for music. I like to prepare a personalized programme adapted to the level and exigencies of each pupil. I also aim to include some violin duos, to be played with me during the lessons, as I believe playing with other musicians is one of the best ways to enjoy music and learn useful musical skills at the same time. Music classes are a really fulfilling experience as both teacher and pupil learn from each other and enjoy beautiful music! Another essential factor in my classes is correct and natural posture while playing, to let music heal our souls instead of hurting our bodies! ;) I have been practicing Yoga for a few years, and have experienced the importance of good posture and targeted light stretching, especially for younger players in a phase of growth and change. I like to help pupils to develop good technical skills in a fun way, always applying technique to beautiful music and keeping in mind that technique is nothing but a means of expressing ourselves through music. I give lessons in English, French, Italian and Spanish. Hope to see you soon :) Chiara
JavierPROFESSIONAL GUITARIST WITH MORE THAN 15 YEARS OF TEACHING EXPERIENCE - ALL LEVELS
Hello, my name is Javier. I am a guitarist, composer, sound technician and music producer. I work professionally, especially in contemporary Jazz. Don't hesitate to look for me on Google, Spotify and YouTube! During more than 15 years of experience as a teacher, I have developed several methods and exercises for teaching guitar and music (songs, theory, composition, improvisation, harmony, etc.) for students of all levels and all ages. I have already had students from 6 years old to 74. I believe that the most important thing is that the students manage to find the motivation to practice regularly with the pleasure of progressing. //METHOD// The most common is the use of songs that the student chooses and take advantage of this to work on more general concepts of music and the guitar which are important to acquire a solid base without bad habits. For more advanced students the learning process is determined together by setting personal goals. The teaching method is totally focused on the individual needs of each student. Students with any level of knowledge in music (self-taught, beginners, advanced ...) are accepted. //INTERVIEW// 01 - Since when did you develop a passion for music and more particularly for your favourite instrument? - I became interested in the guitar at the age of ten. I had a friend who played "Blackbird" music by The Beatles and I was fascinated. From there, I started to study and I continue to learn today. 02 - What music can you listen to on repeat with the same pleasure (and without going crazy)? - Beethoven's Seventh Symphony. 03 - Tell us about the most difficult or amazing lesson you have given! - It would be a class where I have to explain the major and minor tonality and all its variants in one hour of class. But I will get there! 04 - In your opinion, what is the most complicated instrument to master and why? - It was impossible to answer. Each person has different predispositions. For me to play the piano at a high level would be complicated for the need for independence of the right and left hands. In this sense, the guitar is easier. 05 - What are, for you, the keys to success (apart from those of Sol and Fa)? - CONSTANCE, it's always better to practice a little every day than a lot once in a while. PATIENCE, learning an instrument takes time. You have to learn to coordinate the body and the brain and take new paths from time to time. And the most important : DON'T BE AFRAID OF MAKING MISTAKES, to learn it is essential to make mistakes and this should not be a reason to stop practising, on the contrary, it should be a motivation to improve. 06 - Name 3 musicians with whom you would dream of jamming in a bar at 2 a.m. and tell us why! - Tigran Hamasyan, Reinier Baas, Avishai Cohen (bassist) 07 - An anecdote to tell in relation to your job or your schooling (and not necessarily the party you had after entering the Conservatory)? - When I started giving lessons (I was 17), I had a 10-year-old student, when I suggested things to do, he looked me directly in the eye and said: No! But with patience, after a while, I managed to make a connection with him and at the end of the 3 years he played the guitar very well and we became friends. Now he is more or less 25 years old. 08 - What is the little touch that makes you a special teacher adored by all his students? - I am very patient and I always find the best way to explain for each student.

LauraLearn how to play violin in a simple and pleasant way
I study my Bachelor in the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussels and I give violin lessons to people or children who want to start and to improve their level, always enjoying the process! I can also give music theory lessons: learn how to read scores, solfegio or basic harmony, and the lessons should be in English, Spanish or French. I really enjoy giving lessons, and I know how to keep the children focus on what they are doing.
