In my classes I aim to transmit first of all my passion and love for music. I like to prepare a personalized programme adapted to the level and exigencies of each pupil. I also aim to include some violin duos, to be played with me during the lessons, as I believe playing with other musicians is one of the best ways to enjoy music and learn useful musical and technical skills at the same time. Another essential factor in my classes is correct and natural posture while playing, to let music heal our souls instead of hurting our bodies! ;) I have been practicing Yoga for a few years, and have experienced the importance of good posture and targeted light stretching, especially for younger players in a phase of growth and change. I like to help pupils to develop good technical skills in a fun way, always applying technique to targeted repertoire and keeping in mind that technique is nothing but a means of expressing ourselves through music. I give lessons in English, French, Italian and Spanish.

Juliette, a young professional violinist who obtained my master's degree at the Brussels Conservatory in 2018 in the class of Shirly Laub, gives violin and music theory lessons. I have been giving violin lessons for 10 years, in parallel with my work as a substitute at the National Orchestra of Belgium and at the Brussels Philharmonic. I am a Dutch violinist, and since 2013 I have been giving violin lessons, mainly to children and young people, at all levels. I work with methods and repertoire that match the age and level of the student. Because I am a classically trained musician myself, my focus in repertoire is more on classical music. A special interest of mine goes to teaching children of preschool age. My method for this age has an auditory approach: based on what we can hear and sing, we learn to play and eventually write and read. My experience is that in this way hearing is directly developed and also the understanding of musical notation is better nurtured. Lessons can be given in Dutch or English.

As a violinist in higher education at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, I intend to pursue a professional career as a violinist, as well as as a teacher. Adoring to share my passion for music, I have been teaching the violin to different children, teenagers and adults for 3 years now. I am particularly interested in teaching different profiles of young artists, in order to help them develop their knowledge and skills. Whatever the level of the student, I always adapt as much as possible to his level and his rhythm. Always wanting to keep the pleasure of playing, I take the time to discuss with the student his projects, musical desires, motivations... The notion of sharing and communication is very important to me: music is above all a pleasure and a sharing between us. My name is Luis, I am a Portuguese Post-Graduate in violin performance in the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussels, studying with Professor Valery Oistrakh. I finished my violin Master in Performance in 2021 and concluded 1 year of Post-Graduation, 2022. I am a musician freelancer, with a lot of teaching experience and many years of learning from the music university. Much experience playing in orchestra and solo musician. I can teach begginer, medium and advanced level violin. Come and learn some classical music.

One-to-one music lessons inspired by the teachings of Suzuki, Havas, Hoppenot, and Galway. The lessons are adjusted according to age, level, and interests. The most important is that the student will learn in an enjoyable way for them. It is only possible to take 45 min. lessons when the student receives more than one lesson a week -which is highly recommended for anyone that might want to become a professional musician. Lessons longer than an hour are also possible for anyone over 14 years old. Other possibilities, a combination of instrumental/theory lessons and prices can be discussed.

I have been practicing the violin for over 20 years, I have studied classical music throughout my studies and then studied electronic music and improvisation. At the same time, I studied music theory until I obtained my diploma. I am self-taught regarding the Ableton software but I have been using it for 8 years now and know it perfectly I adapt to each desire, each request and of course at each level!

I have won different competitions, and I have held positions as "concertmaster" and "concertmaster assistant" in the European young orchestra and Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester. In the field of education I have experience with children and adults of all levels, offering from fun courses for the little ones to musical lessons of high artistic level.
