Languages are becoming more and more essential to solidify a good understanding and communication of this world’s constant change. Therefore, Spanish, being one of the most popular language, becomes an important tool. In order to speak it, the class is composed by grammar, vocabulary, listening and speaking. Depending on the time and frequency, the student will be be able to articulate thoughts and write them.
It is vital that the language is spoken, hence, depending on the student’s level, the class will be provided in Spanish and English (swapping when necessary).

STRUCTURE OF THE LESSONS:

I build my lessons through a communicative approach maximising the use of the target language.
My lessons are usually task-based and centred around practical functions.
During each lesson, we will always work on four different skills such as speaking, listening, reading and writing, using a great variety of teaching materials reflecting real-life situations.

MY COURSES WILL AIM AT:

I have learnt English, Spanish and I am currently learning Italian and Russian, so I perfectly understand how it feels to learn a new language and the difficulties that one can come across, especially when that language isn't using the same alphabet as your mother tongue.

I specialise in tutoring French and/or English for school just as well for higher education levels or different age groups. As a native speaker in both languages and as a linguaphile who took interest in learning other languages such as Spanish and Arabic, I am aware of the struggles that might come with attempting to learn a new language. For my students, I would start off by evaluating where they are at in terms of their level of speaking just as well as writing, in order to know what to work on and what they've already mastered. I would provide homework, just as well as challenges to place them in real life situations where they would have to use their skills and knowledge. My method comes from my own professional experience working in London theatres. I believe heavily in preparation. Doing the work! Then letting go and being free on stage opening yourself to act spontaneously.

I direct and teach with the National Youth Theatre of GB and other theatre companies across London.

In my three years of coaching my students have gained places at RADA, LAMDA, Drama Studio London, East 15 and NYT. I can help with the interview stage and with selecting material.

Once we have that we will slowly dissect the piece and the world of the play to truly understand the character's wants/needs/obstacles/actions.
