I am a passionate music performer and educator, and a recent Master of Music graduate of Indiana University. Violin lessons with me are flexible, fun and they focus on the music you love! Are you a beginner with no experience? I will give you all the tools you need to start your musical journey. Do you have a few years of experience playing the violin or other musical instruments? We will build on your knowledge and work together to reach your goals. I believe in the importance of having a foundation in classical technique, but we will also have fun learning songs and pieces that inspire you! Do you love pop, rock, jazz, musicals, famous movie songs, or classical pieces? Great, we can get right to work! Beginners, intermediate, and advanced students are all welcome! In the lessons, we will play the violin, get to know each other, talk about your interests, and discuss lesson goals and structure. My teaching approach is interactive, using a combination of engaging activities, demonstrations, and games to help students apply the concepts taught. My teaching style is encouraging and patient, and I am committed to creating a positive and nurturing learning environment for my students. I believe that every student has the potential to learn to play the violin and I am committed to helping students strengthen their confidence and explore their creativity. I am a student studying classical piano at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I graduated from the Yehudi Menuhin School in England. I can help students with their piano exams, theory exams. I also have experience teaching beginner students. My goal is to inspire people with music so that they find joy in playing an instrument and in the lessons. I also aim to make every student coming out of the lesson to feel motivated to practice and want to do their best.

Hi, I'm Karoline! I have a Bachelor of Education from the University of Music and performing arts Vienna and have been teaching for several years. Whether you are a complete beginner (of any age) or have been playing for many years - my lessons will be customized to fit you personal needs and goals. For me the most important thing is to pass down my passion for the instrument and music and to teach you how to be confident with your instrument. I can also prepare you for exams (i.e. entrance exams for a music university) and teach lessons in music theory and ear training. In my lessons I like to occasionally use methods from elementary music education, which focuses on musical expression. That way you can practice to express yourself and your feelings on the instrument and the typical fear of mistakes is being avoided. I teach in a beautiful room with a grand piano near the Belvedere. About the Lesson: Are you a music enthusiast that wants to start learning how to play? Are you an already good player but you want to further develop your skills? In these lessons, we will create a curriculum together, based on your wishes, needs and musical taste. Our goal is for you to be able to express yourself through your instrument. I will guide and help you to achieve this goal by providing the following classes: - Contrabass (Jazz and Classical and any other style) - Bass Guitar (Any modern style) - Music Theory - Solfeggio/ Ear training - Jazz Harmony All these classes can be taught seperately. Nevertheless, during our instrumental lesson we will cover a portion of the material of all the modules.

I started taking violin lessons at the age of 7. After years of training I am currently continuing my violin studies at Utrecht Conservatory. I have also attended music theory class for 6 years, because it is very useful to have some knowledge of it when playing any instrument. If you would like, I would be more than happy to share some knowledge of music theory along with the violin lessons. Lessons are private and not in groups.

I have a Master's degree from Liszt Ferenc in Budapest, Hungary, and a Master's degree from Columbus State University in the United States. Besides my career as a pianist, I have over 10 years of experience in teaching Piano, music theory, and history for all ages and categories. Even if you are a beginner we can make it! I have a personal method where I combine both classical and commercial repertoire depending on the student’s preferences. I usually play four hands with my students as well and organize at least one concert a year with all my students where they can meet and share their experiences. RGT is an UK-based music teaching organisation and offers a wide range of internationally recognized exams, in partnership with London College of Music Exams (one of the world's most respected music examination boards, established since 1887) and certificated by the University of West London. If anyone considers taking up the guitar exams and become a qualified guitarist, I can back you up. Any styles, pop/rock/blues/jazz/funk/classical guitar etc. Whatever songs/riffs/comps/(16th note) strumming patterns (lead guitar/rhythm guitar) harmony and music theory, solfeggio(aural) and so on. My goal is to make people of all ages and levels learn not only playing an instrument but how can music help them in their everyday life. I am an Albanian violinist, with a Bachelor degree in Classical Music (Violin) and Musicologie in Sorbonne University. Over the years, my experiences with different youth and professional orchestras all around Europe have made me understand that music is important not only for professional musicians but also for everyone. I can teach in English or French and of course in my mother tongue Albanian.

I'm a classical pianist, but I am opened to other musical styles. What I want you to get from your lessons with me, is not only a huge knowledge of theorical stuff or a great technique, I would like to show you my musical world, the imagination and inner exploration that is required to understand and to love music in a whole new level. The class duration: You can choose! 20 minutes (Great for the youngest : 3 years old) 30 minutes (Ideal for young beginners from 4 years old) 45 minutes (Intermediate+ adult beginners) 1 hour (Intermediate and combined with some Music Theory) I use different methods depending on: 1) The goals of my student 2) The language that we will use on class 3) Age and musical preferences: I start to teach children from 3 years old, we make games and they learn to play through musical stories that I have created throughout my pedagogical career.

I mostly focus on classical music theory, but can also provide an introduction to jazz and pop music theory. Hello! Being a singer and a singing teacher, many many times I have found myself in the situation of having to work on ear training, or solfège, or music theory… or all the above listed! Approaching music and having no clue of these elements can totally be intimidating and off-putting, but in 2023 I feel like it’s a pity that these subject still are looked at with such a fear. I want to prove to you that building these basic knowledge can be easy, accessible and not heavy at all! My program is not fixed: I’ll build it on your specific needs, wether they are preparing an exam, curiosity, getting better at pitch matching… we will discuss together. I have many books and material, and I honestly prefer to draw blackboards by myself a lot of times. Unless you will want to, I won’t ask you to buy any material, so the only cost that you will have to sustain, is for the time of the class.
