Beginners course in Bharatnatyam-Indian Classical Dance

Begin your journey in the Indian classical dance form- BHARATNATYAM.
This class will cover the very basics from hand,feet and body postures.Step by step we shall combine what we have learnt together and in the last learn the 1st combined dance motion on classical music,therby entering the intermediate range.
p.s:this class is suitable for all ages and even those in intermediate level to freshen up your basics.

About Me

Its a great pleasure to teach those who have a thurst for new skills.
My association with this dance form has beenfrom the age of 6 and I have completed my Arangetrum under the guidance of Guru.Smt Lata Surendran and then continued my post learning under Sri.Udyogamandal Vikraman Pillai .
I used to take classes for the batches in my class and it was amazing and fun to teach new aspiring dancers.
During this time I took up a certification course in regular yoga and did an internship on it.
I have been in Berlin for around few months now and I thought I could use my talents to teach the students who might be interested.

Completed Arangetrum in Bharatnatyam in the year 2007.
Experience taking classes for batches in the dance institute and conducting some workshops during summer vactions for school kids.
Completed Yoga certicifcation Course and internship.
Yoga is an old, holistic teaching from India. Yoga exercises help to balance body, mind and soul. When practicing yoga exercises (asanas) many areas are addressed: the muscles, the sense of balance, the cardiovascular system and the nervous system.Regular practice keeps our body healthy and fit. In this class we do basic yoga asanas that people of all age and physical fitness can do so.
