I am an international concert pianist, performing across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa. I have been performing solo concerts, as well as chamber music, or as a soloist with orchestra. I have recorded 3 CDs so far and have reached the finals of numerous national and international piano competitions.

I have been teaching privately to motivated and enthusiastic students since 15 years, in Belgium, India, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates.

I have a very personal approach to teaching, and think it's important to adapt my teaching style to each and every student, depending on their needs and personality.
I believe music comes together with learning a lot about yourself, so I put a lot of attention to the wellbeing and the growing in confidence of my students.

Everyone is welcome, at every age or level, but I do expect a motivated and eager-to-learn commitment - as you can also count on my full commitment. And together we can bring you beyond your limits!

In this course, we will dive together into learning each musical instrument through an integrated approach that enhances your technical skills and satisfies your passion for music.

In Oud, we will focus on:

Musical Maqams: Deepen your understanding of Arabic Maqams and how to apply them to playing. Musical Notes: Learn to read and perform notes on the oud with skill. Pick Exercises: Improve playing techniques using a pick to develop movement between the strings. Technique Exercises: Build playing skills through various exercises to improve speed and accuracy. Oriental Songs: Learn to play the most famous oriental tunes and songs to be able to give a distinctive performance.
