Over

Samuele is a singer and multi-instrumentalist born and raised in Trento, Italy. He started playing flute when he was 7 with classical music education at Minipolifonici and later at F.A. Bonporti Conservatory in Trento. Later on, he started singing blues and playing harmonica when he was 16, performing around the whole region of Trentino-Alto Adige. He then matured interest in jazz and started playing saxophone when he was 19. Samuele’s influences rotate around blues and jazz and their common sub-genres, as do his musical projects. In 2011, he started to perform with an Italian blues band called “Curly Frog & the Blues Bringers” playing more than a thousand shows around Italy, Austria, and Germany and recording two albums with original compositions, winning various music competitions, including “Music 4 the Next Generation”. The latter gave Sam the chance to tour with the Haydn Orchestra performing his original compositions.
After obtaining his Bachelor’s degree in jazz flute at F.A. Bonporti Conservatory, Sam is currently studying in the Jazz Department of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam (NL), under the guidance of Robert Bonisolo and Simon Rigter, amongst others.
In Amsterdam, Samuele is working as a musician and bandleader of a number of projects, namely “The Hi-Stakes” (Swing/ Rock ’n Roll) following in Louis Prima’s footsteps; “Roaring Cats” (Hot Jazz/ New Orleans Style) jumping on the bandwagon of Fats Waller, and finally “Jelly Roll Duo” (Rural Blues/ Ragtime/ Bluegrass) bringing alive old-time music flavors. The way he studied the various repertoires, through a philologically conscious approach, guarantee a thought outperformance, always accompanied by a sophisticated sarcasm and dynamic enthusiasm.

About me - I've graduated BA in Viola from The Jerusalem Academy for Music and Dance and BA and MA in Composition at The Royal Conservatory including an Erasmus semester at MIAM, ITU, Istanbul.
I was born in 1986 in Israel. Currently I live in Amsterdam.
I play viola, compose acoustic and electronic music (often involving theater and film), draw faces and make large-scale collages out of them, dance, research and experiment with movement & music, make performance-art, sing, improvise, make videos, write about my dreams, write poetry, perform as a soloist and with ensembles, initiate and taka part in many musical and cross-art collaborations.

My name is Teis. I am a Danish guitarist trained in Jazz music at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and USC Thornton School of Music (Los Angeles). I have played since age 7, studied since age 13, and played professionally since age 18.

I work professionally as a band leader, composer, and side person.

After around 25 years of experience on the guitar, I can confidently say that I am equipped to share the knowledge that I have accumulated over the years.

In all honesty: I have never found myself to be particularly "talented". But I am a hard worker. I truly believe that talent is not something you are born with, but something you can develop and grow.

Together we will explore secrets and tips for a healthy guitar routine. We will improve your technique and ear training abilities with direct and fun exercises.

Whether you are just a beginner or an intermediate/advanced guitarist, we can explore the instrument and all its possibilities.

Practicing and playing with a teacher in a one-on-one situation is the most effective way to get better faster, and I advise it to all the guitar and music lovers out there.

In my guitar course, we start from where you are at and set a goal fitting to what you want to achieve. For example, our focus could be a.o.:

Two ways to go about it;

Single lesson: We go from where you are at the moment, and I help you move forward.

5 or 10 lesson bundle: I will make a detailed plan for you and we will conclude the lessons with a performance of some sort. We will build a sustainable practice routine together, and you will get access to a library of practice play-alongs and manuals, that you can use to build a solid platform as a musician!

My bass lessons are intended for students of all levels from beginners to pre-conservatory level. In the lessons we talk about essential aspects of bass playing - so technique, timing, awareness of rhythm and harmony. And that in connection with different music styles: pop, rock, funk, jazz, hip-hop, electronica. During my singing lessons we’ll focus on your vocal technique to increase your vocal range, build vocal strength and stamina, improve your breathing and gain control over your instrument . We’ll work on multiple musical and vocal styles, sing high and low notes with ease, and most importantly, we’ll focus on finding your own voice while having fun doing it.

All you need for these lessons is passion for singing and a song of your choice. During the first lesson we’ll discuss your goals and wishes and have a little try at a few vocal exercises. Next, we’ll work on the song of your choice with the focus on the things you’d like to improve. Private lessons for beginners to advanced level of flute playing. All ages are welcome. I am a professionally trained teacher and flutist for almost two decades. My lessons are given in English, Spanish and (soon) Dutch.

My teaching method is variable depending on the students' needs, but the goal is shared: to make a great musician and qualified flutist out of the pupil. I work on both technical and musical aspects from a healthy and enjoyable perspective. Particular emphasis on having fun with the little ones!
