Hi! I'm Tanya. I was born in Italy, but for the last two years of my life I have traveled the world, mainly in Central and South America and the Middle East, traveling and working remotely. I am a professional teacher with 6 years of experience. I worked on the translation of medical and legal articles, panels in the glass museum in Venice and worked as an interpreter at the court of Venice. I have a degree in languages, I am certified in international law and I am a language coach. Language coach means that I not only teach you a language, but also how to learn new languages! I will closely monitor your entire learning journey, to get the most out of your skills! That's because I love learning new languages! I passed the NT2 B2 level Dutch exam in one go within 2.5 months through self-study. As much as the Chinese languages, Dutch is difficult in some aspects but also easier than expected in some others. However, only when one is above B1 level, the dutch language starts to reveal its beauty. I am happy to assist individuals With High Motivation to improve their dutch to a sufficient level so as to open up more career opportunities. Note: I do not speak perfect Dutch myself still, but well equipped with the teaching skills to take you to B2 level. :) In reality, one also do not need absolute flawless Dutch to convey the most complicated ideas or to get the NT2 B2 diploma.

For advanced learners I fancy such books as Destination and Grammar in Use (we won't be restrained by just these, though). With beginners we'll be maintaining a decent active vocabulary. I prepare for every lesson and expect the same from you, that's why I always send you emails or messages so that your English stays active in your head even outside of class. While class we use a number of assistance resources: handouts, interactive media web sites, games, music, comics, books, news and all. The biggest benefit of my approach is flexibility. I make slots to use in your calendar. The more you take a class, the faster you will see the progress. I think one lesson a week is fine, but one lesson every 2 weeks is an absolute minimum. Learn quickly when you want and enjoy using English. I prefer to teach online because of corona, but I will come to you up to 20 km from Amsterdam.
