Über mich

I have been studying music since I was 6 years old and graduated in Organ and Organ's Composition with optimal marks at the Conservatory of Triest. The course lasted 10 years, and provided me with a title which is equivalent of a Master's degree.
I am Italian, but I have an international mindset and can teach in Spanish and English (and Italian of course!).

I recently discovered my vocation: teaching. I love to make even hard and complex subjects accessible to every one and offer different paths suitable to each student, so I can't wait to see you in one of my classes!

Online Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga classes to release trauma and negative emotions!

I offer flowy, creative and funky vinyasa and hatha classes. Slow flow yin-like classes are an option as well! The classes are held online, through zoom or other platforms, but they will be in person as well in a few months!

The classes can focus on hips flexibility and mobility specifically, in order to work on the lower chakras, but the preferences of the student will be discussed so to tailor the class on the basis of your needs. Classes are generally addressing the whole body with a greater focus on the lower areas in the last parts of the class. I encourage feeling one own's body with care to ensure that we are working on the areas that most need attention! But working on the hips can be very useful to release facial and jaw tension, tap into femininity and release stored negative emotions of fear and shame. Classes are sensitive to trauma and can be very good to reestablish a connection to an often forgotten (female) body, but also to cultivate compassion, forgiveness and clarity. Playing the guitar is a powerful skill. It allows you to express your creativity and provides a wonderful escape from the hustle of everyday life. Fortunately, learning to play your favourite songs on the guitar is easier than you might think, and a lot of fun too.

In a typical lesson, we will work on music theory, technique, and practical playing. I have plenty of material and exercises to guide your progress, and you are always encouraged to bring songs you would like to learn.

For beginners, I emphasise good technique and a solid understanding of music theory, as a strong foundation makes learning much easier later on. For intermediate players, we can explore improvisation, songwriting, and developing your own musical style.

Looking for a piano teacher? In Utrecht you will find the friendly Spanish professional pianist Mar. She lives in Utrecht and studies at the Rotterdam Codarts Conservatory of Music, and has already a master's degree from the Utrecht Conservatory (with pedagogical training as well)
She teaches in English, Spanish, Italian, German and soon in Dutch. Lessons can take place at your place or at my place (in the centre of Utrecht) as I have a beautiful grand piano at my disposal. Lessons in Utrecht (and surroundings), Houten, Vleuten, De Meern, Amsterdam and Rotterdam.
For young, teenagers and adults, all levels, no previous experience necessary.

I have been working for 12 years as a piano and music teacher (I started very very young, when I was 14 years old, because I always liked teaching): I have experience in private lessons and official state music schools, with children from 2 years and adults of all levels, both teaching individually and in groups. I have taught piano, music and movement for children, music theory, solfeggio and choir.

I finished my bachelor studies with the highest marks, I have experience as a concert performer and have won prizes in competitions and several scholarships prizes.

Hey! My name is Daan and I am a keyboard player, producer and songwriter and I am happy to teach piano at your home in Amsterdam.

I graduated from the Conservatory of Amsterdam pop department and am also very active in bands (as a keyboardist, singer, guitarist, bassist and drummer) and as a producer/songwriter in various genres.

As a teacher, I am mainly concerned with what the student wants to achieve and what can be gotten out of the student. Do you want to learn that one new song by Billie Eilish, or an advanced piece by Stevie Wonder; I can always help you. The great thing about music is that you can learn and perform it at all kinds of levels. My job is to find the right level for the right student, so that progress can be made at the same time as there is fun during the lessons.

In addition, I find it important that my students not only play the piano, but also understand the music and build up a knowledge of the music theory behind the pieces. This has helped me a lot to quickly make big steps as a musician.
