There isn't a better way to teach your child a new language than through playing. My job is to introduce the English, French, or Arabic language while your child is discovering and learning to make sense of the world around them. Through play, children have more capacity to develop linguistic, social, and communication skills, and gain the self-confidence they need.
My job is to play with the child while using the new language vocabulary; as an example, we can play the Zoo game and learn the names of the animals, the noise they make, the food they consume, and where they live in the wild.
While we play, we can use toys, pictures, songs, videos, and house objects such as fruits and vegetables.
We can play inside or outside in a safe environment.
I have a program that I developed to help my child learn a language and have fun at the same time. It consists of games, reading books, and role-playing in different themes such as ( Food, Animals, Numbers, Alphabet, Colors, Geography, Nature, Technology, Outfits... )
This program can be discussed and edited by the parent according to their child's needs and level.

I focus on the learner's goals to plan my lessons. I am an English teacher and I have experience teaching students from elementary and high school, college students and also other teachers. I am very enthusiastic, motivating and challenging. I am also patient, committed and responsible.

I am a CELTA Certified English Teacher (native speaker) with a Masters' Degree in English Teaching, a Master's Degree in Journalism, a Bachelor's Degree in Translation and 25 years work experience and I teach all levels. I am also a Business English Teacher and a Translator.

I can help my students in obtaining all Cambridge Certificates, writing research/academic papers, and work presentations. For those who want to improve their oral skills, I have created and developed a communicative fast-learning method that has turned out to be very effective.

I can either teach at my place in Amsterdam downtown, at the student's place, at a café/library, or via Skype, depending on the student's needs.

In 2023, I've obtained a Master degree in Linguistics at the University of Amsterdam. I've achieved the C1+ levels in English, on the CEFR scale. I have 2 years of experience living in London, where I acquired RP (received pronunciation) and 7 years of experience in the International Academia (Amsterdam). My linguistic background gives me the capacity to explain the sounds and various processes of the language, from a perspective many natives do not know. In teaching, I practice the holistic approach. It is my belief that language is for people of every age and education, but I'm aware that everyone deserves a personal approach. In the first session, we always do a needs analysis and become acquainted, to make sure we click as people and will enjoy working away at your personal language goals.

Over the years, my classes, have proven to raise the confidence levels of students. We practice knowledge in English, on 4 levels of proficiency: Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing.
