It still isn't easy, but with the right teaching and practice, we can make sure that you have the best shot at a good grade in your exam, and that revision is stress free! I also teach physics below GCSE level to anyone who might be thinking about taking it as a GCSE, just wanting a taste of what the subject is like and how you can start learning about things that will get you ahead in the future!

My name is Robert, and I believe that with the right understanding, anyone can improve quickly at a subject. When I was doing my GCSEs and A-Levels, I found that when I found something hard, a lot of the time it was just because I hadn't had it explained in the right way. Even if you think you know how to do something, sometimes you are really only repeating it, and without truly understanding it you aren't reaching your full potential.

That's why, as a tutor, I focus on providing explanations that work for you, and I try to understand what would fit your learning style best. I'm always willing to go over anything no matter how small, because I know exactly how frustrating it is to not get something, especially the small things.

Another focus I have is making learning enjoyable, because if you don't enjoy it, then you won't learn as effectively. So, all I ask for from a student is that you're eager to learn, open-minded to new explanations, and that you want to enjoy your studies.

About five years ago, I emigrated from Frankfurt to Istanbul and now live on the Bosphorus. As the child of academics—a German-French mother and a Turkish father—my schooling, upbringing, university studies, and generally my entire life up to the age of 27 were spent in Germany.

Skipped two grades, highly gifted, started several self-employed ventures at a young age and eventually sold them, also studied civil engineering on the side, never fully embraced the job, emigrated and now have a lot of free time which I want to fill with content and meaning.
