Passionate about Sciences, Life Sciences in particular, I left France for South Africa in 2011 to complete a PhD in Biology-Zoology at the University of Cape Town. The many valuable interactions I had with my students at the university, demonstrating, supervising and lecturing revealed my love for teaching. While working with the French High School of Cape Town and with Herzlia High School (both prestigious private schools in Cape Town), I have developed a fun, creative and caring method of teaching Sciences to make sure you undestand the simplicity behind scientific concepts. Mon doctorat portait sur l’étude des sociétés animales. Cette expérience dans le domaine de la recherche m’a beaucoup apportée, c’était vraiment mon rêve d’enfance devenu réalité. Elle m’a aussi permis de me rendre compte de l’importance que j’accordais à l’éducation de notre future génération. La graine a commencé à germe grâce aux nombreuses interactions que j’ai eu avec les étudiants de l’université, en tant que superviseur ou professeur et mes expériences en tant que professeur de Sciences au Lycée Français du Cap et au Lycée Herzlia du Cap ont renforcé ce choix de me dédier à 100% à l’enseignement. Les élevés ont adorés mes cours ludiques et interactifs, ainsi que ma volonté de faire en sorte qu’ils comprennent plus qu’ils ne retiennent !

I found Dr. Ralf to be a wonderful Teacher. The things that he taught me through online helped me a great deal in this class as well as in statistic level. Because of the help and attention that He provided me with, I understand and enjoy Statistics. The class was great in that he didn’t just give the answers away – he made me THINK. This was sort of frustrating, but it helped me understand the material much better. I would recommend him as a Teacher for future classes, without a doubt.
