Dependant on what you are looking for, I can prepare you for an English Literature exam, help you improve your work for school, or improve English as your non-native language. Since October 2021, I have been an EAL teacher and HLTA at a secondary school in Camden. I have been teaching English to classes of Refugees from Afghanistan and working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. I love being able to take someone with limited knowledge of English and growing their understanding of the language. I am a recent graduate from the University of Birmingham where I gained a 2:1 in Drama and English Literature, and I have recently completed a Diploma in Musical Theatre at Associated Studios in London. Since April 2020, I have been teaching English as a Second Language online with Educasteam. This job involves tutoring French speaking adults and children, and ensuring they learn English to a high standard in a positive and encouraging environment. I am TEFL certified. I am passionate about reading, and would be able to effectively take a student from basic English knowledge to being more confident in their ability to understand a text. I am passionate about students being able to learn in a supportive and productive environment. I am also interested in the students, and understand the necessity to always put them first.
