I also have a PhD in Japanology and have lived and worked in Japan several times over several months (almost 2 years in total). Through my many years of experience as a private teacher for children, adolescents and adults and my teaching activities at the University of Edinburgh, I have learned to adapt my skills to a wide range of situations, to respond to individual needs and to convey the subject matter with fun and vigor. I offer intensive tutoring and language lessons for every age group (also in small groups by arrangement) as well as exam preparation, intensive courses (for writing, speaking, text analysis, etc.) and, on request, Japan-related culture and history lessons.
