The English classes I provide are for children aged 8-16. I work on promoting the understanding of a wide range of literacy terms that bind together grammar and extensive vocabulary within targeted literacy pieces (which is determined by age appropriate curriculum or literacy understanding). I am able to help students prepare for important exams such as SATs and GCSEs. I can help students at every stage of learning as I have experience in teaching children of all ages with a range of needs.

My teaching methodology is quality over quantity. I want my students to be able to understand what they are learning rather than just learning for the sake of it. I use a method of assessments, fun activities and plentiful amounts of homework. I like my students to understand that I have a strict work ethic that will benefit self discipline and develop independence. I have sat several GCSEs early and I understand the importance of a strict routine. My first lesson consists of several assessments to understand where the student is at in terms of their education. After that I will put together a plan of all the things the student needs to work on. Every now and again the student will have random assessments to see how well they absorb the material.
