About Me
Graduated in sound engineer from SAE Geneva, I currently live in Brussels with my wife and our two children after having traveled the globe since the end of the 80s, carrying out various professional activities while practicing the electronic musical production of all kinds as well as a DJ activity.Music is my passion and during all these years I have acquired an important knowledge in several categories of this field, which I gladly share with anyone interested in discovering it.
Education
SAE sound engineer diplomaExperience / Qualifications
Currently based in Belgium, David starts DJing in England in the early 90's after discovering London’s underground nightclub scene, meeting the likes of Mr C (The Shamen), Max The alien thing, Dave Randall, Robert Miles, Tinrib etc... This experience revolutionise his musical horizons and he starts organizing underground house parties as well as opening a club in central London with his brother. While traveling the world to Dj in different places he ends up meeting his brother back in New York around where they bring their first music gear from, back to London, starting making beats ranging from house to techno. While he has always produced due to his absolute passion for music, it is not until recently that he decides to start sharing his work. As well as producing noticeably high energy in an elegant music style, he hosts the infamous “Kodewave” radio show on Radio vibration, Belgium’s best electronic music radio, every Saturdays, where he plays the best of house, tech house and techno as well as inviting guest DJs, with the idea to promote the electronic music scene without borders or restrictions.Reviews (1)

Composition, Music theory, Music Production Lessons
Hello there,
I am a professional composer living in Berlin Mitte. I hold a Master's and a Bachelor's degree in Composition from the conservatory of Utrecht in the Netherlands. I write for orchestras, ensembles and theater and I have had commissions from the Athens State Orchestra, the International Ensemble Modern Academy and the Gaudeamus Festival among others.
Since 7 years I have been teaching students of any age (kids, adults) and level the following Subjects:
-Composition / Songwriting
-Music Theory
-Music Production / Music Software (Sibelius, Logic)
-Advanced Rhythm
I am open to any combination of the above subjects :-)
I always try to adapt to each student, his level and most importantly his needs.
*With adults that are already musically active I like to focus the work we do together on the project you are working on now, in a way that can help you now.
*With kids or adults willing to take that road, we can do the "harder" type of work that will build and enhance the foundations of your musical knowledge.
I can teach in English and German and the lesson can be at my place, your place, or via webcam.
Ange
Piano, music, harmony, improvisation, composition and production.
As far as the piano is concerned, the study of music has led me to broaden the field of the classical that is learned at the conservatory to other styles, such as jazz, rock, pop, or improvisation. Thus, I am qualified to teach both the reading and interpretation of classical scores as well as more modern pieces and styles.
As for other disciplines, such as harmony, musical language or composition, I have a firm base in classical music. From there, I have investigated on my own and studied with other teachers, acquiring knowledge of other styles, such as jazz or soundtracks.
I have played in various music groups in Salamanca as a pianist and drummer and I have also collaborated with other artists at a national level.
I am currently producing my own music and I am qualified to teach electronic music production using programs like Ableton.
The classes I offer are open to anyone regardless of their level. Given my training, I usually adapt very well to the needs of my students, although I like to give a richer teaching of the piano by mixing sheet music reading with other styles such as improvisation, which provide the musician with an even deeper knowledge of music. .

About me:
Hello.
I am a sound designer and producer with a 15 years of experience composing, editing, recording and shaping sound+music for theater, film, podcasts, dance clubs, sound art and all sorts of multidisciplinary projects. Because of my extensive work with playwrights, I have a keen ear for language and how to edit speech and dialogue for optimal naturalism. As a composer, I can create a wide range of genres and sensibilities, from neo-classical to techno.
As a sound designer I have collaborated extensively, on projects ranging from Shakespeare to Sound Art. Collaborations include Marina Abramovic, Laurie Anderson, David Byrne, Duncan Sheik, Taylor Mac and many more. I have designed sound systems for venues all over the world, including Pompidou in Paris, Kings Theater in Edinburgh, Lincoln Center in NYC, Hong Kong Royal Theater in HK and many more.
With 20 years of experience with Ableton Live, I have all of the tools to create great sounding, complex sonic ideas. Whether it is simply cleaning up a bad recording, editing a podcast, scoring a film or
building a sonic brand, I am a kind and intuitive collaborator and teacher who has long left his ego behind.
