HarleyEnglish Tutoring From Friendly Australian English Teacher
My name is Harley and I would love to be your tutor. At home in
Melbourne, Australia, I work as a high school English and Drama teacher. As well as this, I have done tutoring for primary and secondary students as well as adults for the last nine years.
In my spare time, I make theatre shows and do a lot of creative writing. Last year, I wrote a novel, which I published a few weeks ago. I have also written quite a few plays and films. While I have a strong passion for poetry and artistic uses of language, I am also highly skilled at essay technique and formal writing conventions. If you need assistance with crafting quality essays, or want a greater understanding of the mechanics of English - all of the rules and exceptions of grammar and syntax, I would enjoy helping. If you'd like to improve your conversational English, or add more flair to your expression, I'd love to join you on that journey also!
This year, I'm based in Paris and hoping to improve my French. Working as an English tutor is my ideal choice for employment while I'm living in Paris - I'd be keen to get to know students and plan interesting and productive lessons suited to them. I believe that a positive and warm environment is best suited to learning most effectively. I'm equally happy to teach groups or individuals, and I have experience working with people from age 5 to 45.
Please get in touch if you'd like to ask me any questions, and I look forward to hearing from you!
Thanks so much,
LouiseEnglish course by an old Anglophobe (7-77 years old)
If you're able to translate this, maybe you do not need any lessons!
Graduate of a master's degree in the scientific field (Biology), I practice both fluent English and professional English.
I traveled to different Anglo-Saxon countries (USA, England, Australia), and I mentored a colleague for his TOEFL preparation (102/120).
The past school year, I followed a student of 2nd at the CNED. On his last 4 controls, his notes ranged between 12 and 16.
The first class is used to assess the student's level and difficulties in English (comprehension, grammar, conjugation, ....).
In addition to the grammar points, I try to draw the student's attention to the English that surrounds him (music, movies, articles, books, ...). It is by taking an interest in everything that can touch the Anglo-Saxon culture, that learning English becomes easy.
My main goal is to convey the necessary work methods to gain efficiency and confidence, whether during personal work or during an exam.
The classes I will give will be adapted to the needs of the student.
I apply a simple and explicit pedagogy that tends to open the motivation of the student.
Having taken classes in scientific preparatory class, I will eventually be able to share my personal experience and advise them on their choice of orientation.
I am currently a student in 2nd year preparatory class. After getting a baccalaureate option mathematics mention very well, and I give home classes in Maths and English.
I remain at your disposal for any further information, and I am available on all Paris.

Teacher's experience of tutoring, homework help, english
As far as my classes are concerned, I make sure to teach effectively, to adapt to the level and difficulties of my students, but to get as far as possible from the school environment and try to make the course the most interesting and exciting possible for the student, punctuating anecdotes and fun learning techniques while not declining on quality for an optimal end result; I am convinced that this kind of teaching is the most effective in learning a difficult discipline for the student .. I devote a lot of time to the preparation of my courses and ensures a regular follow-up between each session. I am also able to easily adapt to the schedule of my students to allow them to take a good pace and progress quickly
