Learn the history of art

Graduated from a Bac +3 in Art History and a Bac + 3 in History, I want to share my knowledge and my enthusiasm for art history. I offer dynamic lessons adapted to each student to arouse their interest, ensure their learning and success in the subject. As with any art historian, the key is to start from images and other types of artistic productions to see all that they tell us (and all that they sometimes hide from us!)

History is vast and complex, which is why I suggest you approach history through the prism of the Arts. From music to architecture, it is always easier to understand historical facts by understanding what surrounds them and motivates them. I therefore propose to you methods for linking and learning history in its plural entirety.

In the age of digital photography, Adobe Photoshop seems to be an indispensable tool to become a professional photographer. As a photographer you will have to know the many functions, often complex, to improve and retouch your photos. I designed this course to help anyone new to photography take the necessary tools to develop their future photographic practice. You'll learn how to make selections, create masks, retouch portraits, and use advanced techniques to enhance your photographs and transform them into new images. In addition to teaching basic Photoshop, I suggest you learn about the history of photography and discover a wide range of old and contemporary photographer artists that will allow you to find inspiration for your personal work. .

Language courses are aimed at people who need tutoring and those who want to learn a new language. French, Spanish and Portuguese are my mother tongues. I am interested in developing with the student his fluency in communicating in a foreign language, and using a manual, we work on the rules of grammar, conjugation and spelling. I have a Master in History and a bachelor in Art History and Archeology. Diplomas awarded by the Universities Paris Sorbonne and Paris Nanterre.

I have over 10 years of experience in education and have taught art history, music history, creative writing, and other subjects to the upper grades of a small secondary school for several years, where I am also a team member. You will always need a blank piece of paper and a pencil for class. Some people say that you need fancy materials to make art but that is far from the truth. Using what you have at home is perfect! We will be taking notes each class on techniques and we will also be doing sketches every class. On the first day of class we will start by setting goals for something we want to learn more about in art. I will work with you to gradually get to that place you want. Art is something that you learn just like everything else, putting in the work is part of learning and is needed in the subject of art as well!
