Kathak is one of the classical jewels of India where the powerful footwork (Tatkar) and hand movements (hastakas) are used to tell a story. Having learnt the form for over 13 years, I understand the determination, joy as well as frustration that I as a student went through. This is not one of those dances where you can learn the choreography over an hour. This form of dance requires patience and practice. With me you will achieve excellence, skills, speed, and receive of the joy of dancing as well. My Background: 13 years of Kathak training in Kalashram (under Mamta Maharaj - daughter of Late Pt.
