Biologist by training (with a doctorate in natural sciences from the University of Zurich), I offer private lessons or tutoring for primary and secondary school students, for high school students and college students in biology, chemistry, social sciences, medicine (etc.).

During the first class, I discuss with the student (or his/her parents) his/her needs and expectations in order to adapt the level and the content of the private lessons. Curriculum / teaching plan or course material can come in handy for this first meeting.

I defended my doctorate in natural sciences (specialization ecology) in late 2017. During my PhD, I developed not only solid knowledge in biology but also in mathematics and statistics. During this time, I also prepared and taught several university-level courses that were highly appreciated by students.
I love to share my knowledge and I am keen to motivate my students for the subject I teach. What I like most about teaching is to see the eyes of my students light up when they understand a new concept.

J'ai défendu mon doctorat en sciences naturelles (spécialisation écologie) en fin 2017. Pendant mon doctorat, j'ai développé non seulement de solides connaissances en biologie mais aussi en mathématiques et en statistiques. Pendant cette période, j'ai également préparé et enseigné plusieurs cours de niveau universitaire qui ont été très appréciés des étudiants.
J'adore partager mes connaissances et j'ai à cœur de motiver et enthousiasmer mes élèves pour la matière que j'enseigne. Ce qui me plaît le plus dans l'enseignement c'est de voir les yeux de mes élèves s'illuminer lorsqu'ils ont compris un nouveau concept.

I have experience with children, teenagers and young adults. In addition to being a camp counselor, for two years I tutored three children / teenagers. I also taught statistics at the University of Zurich and of Swansea (teaching assistant) and French as a foreign language for the language center of the University of York.
