Hello to you all! After obtaining a Master in "European Literatures and Philologies" at the University of Pisa, I devoted myself to teaching for 4 years, as a language assistant and professor in several French schools. I also gave adult classes. I like to make good contact with the people I teach, because teaching is also learning from others and laughing together. There are no bad students, so I believe that every person has the right to a personal method to learn well: first of all, the language must be practiced through oral and a little grammar, but also through all that is cultural, like theatre, music, cooking, art. I use some lyrics for this, but also videos and songs.

Learning Chinese from a non-native speaker definitely has its advantages. After all, I have learned it myself as a young adult and know exactly what the stumbling blocks and difficulties are. After having lived in China for 14 years, first as a scholarship student and later working in the business world and the cultural sector, I still enjoy going back to China as often as possible. In the meantime, I have more than 20 years of experience teaching at all ages and at all levels, and I have developed flexible methods to optimally teach both spoken and written Chinese. Experience with private lessons for toddlers, primary and secondary school children, professionals from different fields, as well as with all ages, motivations and levels in adult education in Kortrijk, Antwerp, Bruges and Ghent. What my students most often give as feedback is that learning Chinese is really fun and fascinating, and that my enthusiasm and passion for this beautiful language and Chinese writing is very contagious.

Every child can learn to play the viola, if the environment offers loving and stimulating support. Lieselotte welcomes your children from the age of 3. Step by step, they will learn to play the viola in a playful way according to the principles of the Suzuki method. The individual and group lessons also have a positive influence on the child's growing skills such as concentration, self-confidence, appreciation and the social aspect. In addition to viola lessons, concerts, workshops and music camps are regularly organized. The method emphasizes the experience of music at a young age. Music is taught in a similar way as a child learns his native language - by listening to the parents and imitating them. If the parents still actively participate in the learning process, learning an instrument becomes a particularly pleasant and challenging experience for each child. Dear future student! I can teach at home but also provide a location around the regions (Antwerp, Hasselt, Ghent or Leuven). Provided I have already completed my master's diploma tuba (euphonium) and master percussion and also follow a master trombone, I can teach different instruments. During the lessons there is the choice to implement solfège or to keep the lessons only instrument technical. I work very constructively and I like to listen to the wishes / goals of the student. In the lessons I work very specifically on the wishes and goals of the student. This can be a very classical training but also contain modern pop songs. Feel free to contact me for some additional information! Many greetings, Sam
