Il s'adresse aux étudiants en Licence et en Master, ainsi qu'aux praticiens du développement souhaitant renforcer la rigueur scientifique de leurs investigations.
Au fil du cours, vous apprendrez à concevoir et conduire un protocole d'enquête qualitative, à mener des entretiens approfondis et des observations participantes, à transcrire et analyser des données issues du terrain, et à rédiger des résultats qui articulent faits empiriques et interprétation théorique. Une attention particulière sera accordée aux défis concrets du terrain : gestion des relations avec les enquêtés, traitement des biais, triangulation des sources et restitution fidèle du point de vue des acteurs.
Ce cours mobilise des outils issus de la socio-anthropologie, de la sociologie qualitative et de l'ethnographie, avec des exemples tirés de contextes africains et de recherches de terrain en milieu rural et périurbain. À l'issue de la formation, vous serez capable de produire des données qualitatives fiables et de les interpréter avec rigueur dans le cadre d'un mémoire, d'un rapport de recherche ou d'un projet de développement.
