I have a passion teaching maths and the art of problem solving (which is what maths is all about!) to students of all ages. I have a Masters in Mathematics, specialising in geometry, from the University of Edinburgh and while at university I gained a lot of experience in teaching elementary and middle school children through attending a math outreach club. After university I have also prepared secondary school (high school) students for their maths A levels.

I can teach maths of all levels up to first year university level. I specialise in teaching understanding and problem solving: I help students think about the core concepts of each topic of maths as well as the fundamental ideas used in general problem solving. The mastery of these two areas is what I believe to be what leads a student to academic success and it is what I strive to teach to them. Life is full of problems to be solved and school maths classes are quite lacking in the art of problem solving.

My teaching style is quite interactive and fun. Whenever I can, I give reasons for why a certain maths topic is useful in the real world to try and motivate what we are learning. I am very flexible and can adjust myself to the needs of parents and students. I can teach from a textbook (either mine or the students) or I can teach more freely - it is up to the student or parent. The homework I assign will mainly be to get the student to reflect on what they have learnt in the previous lesson. This is to help them understand and memorise the material better.

Currently studying at Shanghai Jiaotong University (Xuhui campus), I propose to give French lessons for any age and any level, adapting myself to the objectives of the interested people. We can work on learning the language or French culture. I can also give some courses of Spanish or English, and can help with Mathematics or Physics if it is interesting (Bac S mention very well, preparatory classes Maths-Physics, School of Engineering and License Maths Applied, currently Master in Finance)

I am offering Mathematics on a beginner and intermediate level. In case there is a specific part of mathematics that needs to be covered eg. algebra, sequences and series, functions or beginner mathematics please let me know.
I can prepare worksheets for students to take home no matter what age or skill level.
We will learn together in a fun and interesting way in a relaxed environment. If you are an absolute beginner in any of these subjects it's absolutely no problem. We all need to start somewhere.

Experienced for more than 18 years, I give private lessons in Mathematics - Analysis - Matrices - Statistics - Algebra - Geometry - Physics - Chemistry - Biology, Geology to students of French patent program, secondary and Terminales or international program in English (Grade 8 , 9, 10, 11, 12) or competitions and medical university preparatory classes or 1st and 2nd university years for the academic year 2022/2023 either at home or by internet online by virtual class method.
The online method is easily done through a link that serves as a shared interactive writing, typing and projection board more than Skype we talk to. This method is very modernized and reliable and guaranteed.
