Hi! Ik ben Johannes, allround professioneel bassist en enthousiast en ervaren basleraar in Rotterdam/Schiedam. Ik heb jazz en klassiek gestudeerd en deel graag mijn passie voor de basgitaar en contrabas met anderen.

Of je nu een absolute beginner bent of al gevorderd, mijn lessen zijn afgestemd op jouw niveau en wensen. Samen verkennen we de wereld van de basmuziek en ontwikkelen we jouw speelvaardigheden.

In mijn lessen leg ik de nadruk op een combinatie van techniek, muzikaliteit en creativiteit. Of je nu geïnteresseerd bent in jazz, klassiek, rock of andere genres, ik help je graag om jouw muzikale doelen te bereiken.

Geboren in Oostenrijk, heb ik mijn muzikale reis voortgezet in Nederland. Mijn passie voor jazz en klassieke contrabas leidde me naar Rotterdam, waar ik mijn masterdiploma behaalde. Trots kan ik zeggen dat ik verschillende prijzen heb gewonnen, waaronder de titel van Beste Solist bij de Erasmus Jazz Prijs. Een hoogtepunt was mijn uitnodiging om op te treden in New York City met mijn soloproject.

Actief in de Nederlandse muziekscene, deel ik graag mijn kennis en ervaring met enthousiaste studenten. Als docent vind ik het geweldig om het leerproces van mijn studenten te ontdekken, zodat ik mijn onderwijs kan aanpassen aan wat het beste voor hen werkt. Mijn betrokkenheid gaat verder dan het leslokaal; ik geloof in het belang van vreugde en inspiratie in muzikale praktijk. Zelfs bij het aanpakken van technische aspecten leg ik de nadruk op begrip, zodat je precies weet waarom iets belangrijk is en hoe het je plezier in de toekomst zal vergroten.

Born in Austria, I continued my musical journey in the Netherlands. My passion for jazz and classical double bass led me to Rotterdam, where I earned my master's degree. I take pride in winning various awards, including the title of Best Soloist at the Erasmus Jazz Prize. A significant highlight was my invitation to perform in New York City with my solo project.

Active in the Dutch music scene, I am eager to share my knowledge and experiences with enthusiastic students. As an educator, I find joy in discovering the learning process of my students, tailoring my teaching to what works best for them. My commitment goes beyond the classroom; I believe in the importance of finding joy and inspiration in musical practice. Even when addressing technical aspects, I emphasize understanding, ensuring you know precisely why something is important and how it will enhance your enjoyment in the future.

Met al 20 jaar ervaring als gitaarleraar en als professioneel muzikant draag mijn passie voor de gitaar graag over aan anderen.
Ik geef les aan allerlei niveaus; van beginners tot gevorderden, en ben gespecialiseerd in jazz, flamenco, klassiek, bossa nova, rock, funk en metal.
Aan de hand van het niveau van de student maak ik een programma wat bij diegene past, met oa het leren van liedjes met akkoorden, het spelen van riffs, ritmetheorie, snelheid, improvisatie, specifieke technieken, transcriptie van solo's.
Ook geef ik les aan gehele bands, met behulp van aansturen zodat er goed samen gespeeld kan worden.

I am a French historical and modern horn player based in The Hague. I have played the Horn since I was 4 years old and I have two Master's degrees in modern horn and natural horn. I offer you lessons on modern and historical instruments, as well as music theory.

I work with all ages, all levels, and all objectives, and I can even work with other brass. If you want to discover the instrument or perfect it, if you need theory support or practice help, I will adapt my methods to your needs to offer you quality musical time!

I have taught children and adults since 2017, and I truly love leading people their way to enjoyable, musical, and informed brass playing.

My lessons include warmups, technique, working on pieces of various repertoire, playing in duo with me, and more. For music theory, I like to come up with playful exercises of my own according to the student's needs and level.

GESPECIALISEERD IN HET ONDERWIJS VAN VOLWASSENEN.
Wil je een van de instrumenten leren die meer stijlmogelijkheden hebben? Wil je weten waarom veel componisten zeggen dat dit een heel krachtig instrument is omdat het in veel situaties past? Wist je dat in de geschiedenis van Klezmer de klarinet de viool verving om projectieredenen, maar ook omdat hij perfect in staat was om de menselijke stem te imiteren, huilend of lachend? Wil je de fascinerende wereld van de klarinet ontdekken?

Een van mijn prioriteiten als muzikant is het geluid. Ik geloof dat je met een mooi en persoonlijk geluid in staat bent om op elk niveau emotie en betekenis over te brengen, ongeacht de moeilijkheidsgraad of het niveau. Ik probeer me dus eerst te focussen op bewustwording van wat mooi is voor de leerling en wat niet. Vervolgens ontwikkelen we door middel van techniek en repertoire (suggesties van de student of suggesties van mij die kunnen helpen om de nieuwsgierigheid van de student te vergroten), de kennis van de student.

De student altijd helpen om -afhankelijk van zijn/haar theoretische niveau- te begrijpen waar we mee bezig zijn, muziek en theorie samenstellen. En tools geven om de grens te verleggen, op alle niveaus. Ik heb kennis en ervaring in Jazz, Klassiek, Klezmer, Choromuziek en Improvisatie.
Je hebt alleen een kostbaar element nodig!

• Muziek theorie
Ik concentreer me op het hebben van een goede basis, en geef zoveel uit als we nodig hebben om alles te begrijpen, want dan wordt het met de tijd gemakkelijker. Ik probeer de student te helpen de stof te vereenvoudigen, want dan hebben we alleen met onszelf een goede basisprocedure om elk probleem op te lossen. Slechts met één les, zult u begrijpen wat ik bedoel.

Ik heb ervaring met het voorbereiden van studenten op examens, zowel voor het semester als voor elk officieel examen; het maakt niet uit of je een gemiddeld theorieniveau hebt en je wilt verbeteren, of dat je sterker wilt worden door de kennis die je hebt te verstevigen (wat altijd de beste optie is), of dat je niets weet van noten en muziekconcepten en je wilt er graag mee vertrouwd raken. Misschien ben je een volwassene die altijd al wilde improviseren, maar niet weet waar te beginnen...?
Het enige wat je nodig hebt is een goede organisatie -die ik kan bieden- om elk doel te bereiken!

Japanese professional pianist, conductor and composer, graduated at Conservatoire du Paris, Tokyo University of Arts and Fontys, I give music lessons according to the needs (including the place of the lesson) of each student.
I have been teacher at Conservatoire de Paris (CNSM) for 8 years. Currently I work sometimes at Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag.
As my parents who are both chorus conductor and music teacher, teaching is always my big passion beside of my activity on stage ! It's my great pleasure to support each student to find his (her) way to enjoy the music. I am an American harpist holding degrees in harp from the University of North Carolina, the National Conservatory of France in Lyon, and currently studying at the Koninklijk Conservatorium den Haag. I am happy to teach students of any age and skill level in the Hague area, either at my home or yours! I am able to teach all styles of playing from classical to jazz and pop, and I am happy to cater my teaching to the interests of the student. I am fluent in English and French.

Trombone lessen

Het leren beheersen van de trombone is geen sinecure. Het is een traploos instrument, kent geen ventielen of kleppen, waardoor met name het gehoor goed getraind moet zijn. Solfège is een belangrijk onderdeel van mijn lessen. Als je iets kunt zingen kan je het ook spelen, is mijn visie. Naast trombone lessen geef ik ook trompet lessen voor beginners. Ook dan hanteer ik de methode van de gehoortraining.

Bij muziekscholen geef ik les volgens het AMV principe. Daarmee kun je je diploma's halen, A- tot D. De laatste is als het ware de auditie voor het conservatorium.

In mijn studio onder de rook van Rotterdam, geef ik muziekles al naar gelang je behoefte. Dat kan techniek beheersing zijn, of het mooi kunnen voordragen van een etude of concert. Maar ook het leren spelen over een akkoordenschema, improviseren, vrij kunnen spelen.

COVID-19 update 2021: Vanwege de corona crisis geef ik op dit moment ook online les via Skype. Mijn studio is echter zo groot dat de 1.5 meter gehandhaafd kan worden bij de 1 op 1 lessen.

I study at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague and studied in Paris before living in the Netherlands. I already gave lessons and will have my teaching diploma in January 2023.

Hi! I am Elsa, I am 24 and I come from France. I am currently doing a jazz master at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, after obtaining my classical bachelor at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague.
I have been playing cello for 19 years. Over the years I played in various settings: chamber music (small ensembles like trios, quartet), bands (new music), solo and orchestras such as the Nationaal Jeugdorkest and Jong Metropole (national youth jazz orchestra).
I love to play classical music but also some jazz, funk or pop! I like to play with people, create music together, improvise... And I hope this is something I can also pass on to my students!
Since 6 years I am teaching all kind of people: all ages, all level, in different languages, individual or in groups... So don't be afraid to have a try! I can teach in english and french, and if your level is not fluent we will always find a way to communicate!

Bonjour! Je m'appelle Elsa, je suis française, j'ai 24 ans et je suis actuellement en master de jazz au Conservatorium van Amsterdam après avoir obtenu un bachelor classique au Conservatoire Royal de La Haye.
Ca fait 19 ans que je joue du violoncelle. Au fil des années j'ai joué dans beaucoup de contextes différents: musique de chambre, groupes, solo et orchestre (notament NJO et Jong Metropole).
J'adore jouer de la musique classique mais aussi du jazz, funk ou pop. J'aime jouer avec d'autre personnes, créer de la musique ensemble, improviser... J'espère que c'est quelque chose que je peux aussi transmettre à mes élèves!

Mijn naam is Héloïse, een Franse celliste en zangeres. Ik woon al twee jaar in Nederland. In juni heb ik mijn studie aan het Conservatorium van de Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht afgerond en ben nu beroepsmusicus en onder andere docent cello bij het Lindenberg Centrum in Nijmegen.

Nadat ik twee jaar lang muziektheorie gaf aan een Frans conservatorium, besefte ik hoe belangrijk lesgeven voor mij is en hoe het mij helpt groeien als muzikant. Ik pas mij graag aan de leerling aan en probeer voor elke onderwijssituatie een oplossing te vinden.
Ik kan alle niveaus cello en zang lesgeven, en alle leeftijden. Ik kan ook muziektheorielessen geven.
De lessen kunnen bij mij thuis in Den Haag plaatsvinden of online, of bij de student thuis, in het Engels of Frans.

Hi! I'm a French violinist currently in my 4th year of a classical violin Bachelor at the Royal Conservatory of the Hague, and I hold a DEM (Diplôme d'Études Musicales) from the CRR de Paris (Regional Paris conservatory) where I studied with Florin Szigeti.
I’ve had the opportunity to participate in masterclasses with Josef Spacek, Pavel Vernikov, Olivier Charlier, Igor Volochine, Marianne Piketty, and I love sharing everything I’ve learned from them through my own teaching.

I have experience with Orchestra and chamber music as well. I had the pleasure of participating in a side by side project with the Orchestre Philarmonique de Radio France and play in various prestigious settings.

I specialize in teaching piano and music when I was at conservatory where I studied for over 20 years. With 14 years of experience I found my own methods to make my students learn in a comfortable and creative environment. As a teacher who enjoys learning from student while teaching, I know how important this is to improve when growing up.
