Mijn passie voor drummen is op jonge leeftijd begonnen en het heeft me niet meer losgelaten! Als drummer treed ik regelmatig op met verschillende bands als Uvira / Bruno / Trio en Los Paja Brava. Naast mijn specialisme als jazz en pop drummer ben ik ook klassieke slagwerker.

In 2017 was ik een van de geselecteerde finalisten van Keep a Eye The Records als een lid van Uvira / Bruno / Trio.

Met al 20 jaar ervaring als gitaarleraar en als professioneel muzikant draag mijn passie voor de gitaar graag over aan anderen.
Ik geef les aan allerlei niveaus; van beginners tot gevorderden, en ben gespecialiseerd in jazz, flamenco, klassiek, bossa nova, rock, funk en metal.
Aan de hand van het niveau van de student maak ik een programma wat bij diegene past, met oa het leren van liedjes met akkoorden, het spelen van riffs, ritmetheorie, snelheid, improvisatie, specifieke technieken, transcriptie van solo's.
Ook geef ik les aan gehele bands, met behulp van aansturen zodat er goed samen gespeeld kan worden.

Altijd al gedroomd om saxofoon te kunnen spelen? Als je in Rotterdam woont, heb je nu de kans!
De lessen zijn gebaseerd op oefeningen die ik zelf zal voorbereiden speciaal voor jouw. Als je niveau wat hoger wordt, zullen we ook wat extra materiaal gaan behandelen (zoals arrangementen, duetten en/of etudes) dat handig is voor het leren van een goede vingerzetting.
In korte tijd kun je je lievelingsstukken toeteren op dit prachtig instrument!
Ik ben een in Italië opgegroeide Nederlander waar ik in 2010 begon met saxofoonlessen van leraren van het conservatorium in Siena. Sinds drie jaar volg ik in Rotterdam de jazz opleiding Codarts. Ik heb les van nationaal en internationaal bekende musici, zoals Tineke Postma, Benjamin Herman, Simon Rigter, Ben Van De Dungen. Ik heb ook de kans gehad om in de schitterende Barcelona zes maanden te studeren in het conservatorium ESMUC, met Gorka Benitez en allerlei andere fantastiche muzikanten (Ignasi Terraza, Mario Rossy, David Xirgu, Eladio Reinon).
Sinds enige tijd ben ik ook als docent actief.

Zingen is een geweldige manier om jezelf op de meest eerlijke manier uit te drukken. Ik leer hoe je je eigen stem kunt vinden, hoe je muziek begrijpt en hoe je moet improviseren. Hello! My name is Alberto. I am a clarinet player who graduated from Codarts University of the Arts (Rotterdam). I am specialized in Classical Music, though I can teach also Jazz in a beginner to intermediate level.

I have always had a deep interest in chamber music, teaching and improvisation and I would like to be able to show you this passion.
The focus of my lessons is to show the possibilities of music, adapting to the student needs, going from clarinet technique to theory, other styles of music such us Klezmer, Jazz, basic piano, as well as learning how to play the bass clarinet.

My name is David, I'm a trumpet player, composer, and conductor based in Rotterdam.
I started to study music when I was 8 years old and I get the Professional Music degree in the specialty of classical trumpet at the Conservatory of Noia (Galicia, Spain) and I've been playing Jazz since I was a teenager.

In my country, I have been a student with teachers such as Paco Charlín or Abe Rábade, whom I have considered my mentors for years, but I have also studied and attended numerous masterclasses and workshops with internationally renowned teachers such as Michael Phillip Mossman, Antonio Hart, Darren Barret, Michel Camilo, Logan Richardson, Orrin Evans ...etc.

With 18 years working and studying the trumpet, I have been fortunate to play with numerous artists and projects such as Phillip Dizack, Nelson Cascais, Kyle Poole, Dyna Stephens, Walter White, L.A.R. Legido, Jesús Santandreu, Pontejazz Big Band, CSM Big Band and also with different groups and orchestras of dance and Latin music.

As a teacher, I have experience teaching in different schools, teaching trumpet lessons, music theory, and choir and ensemble conduction, working with both young children and adults and the elderly, aged between 4 and 85.

My classes are individualized and personal, adapting to the needs and concerns of the student to help him evolve and meet his objectives.

Behalve het leren van de meest verbazingwekkende Latijnse ritmes, pas ik in mijn lessen het stokcontroleboek toe om een goede techniek te bereiken, en tegelijkertijd leer ik coördinatie en grooves, met de beste methoden en boeken van de meest gekwalificeerde drummers.

Ik ben een professionele drummer uit Spanje, maar woon in Rotterdam, Nederland. Ik heb Latin drums gestudeerd aan Codarts, hogeschool voor de kunsten in Rotterdam, dus ik heb veel kennis en vaardigheden opgedaan met Cubaanse en Braziliaanse muziek, jazz, funk en pop.

De lessen zijn afgestemd op het profiel van elke leerling, ongeacht leeftijd, verwachtingsniveau (het maakt niet uit of het gezien wordt als hobby of dat de leerling zich voorbereidt op officiële audities voor het conservatorium, etc.).

We zullen spelen en/of ons richten op waar de student zich in wil verdiepen (welke muziekstijl ze ook interesseren, meer theoretische aspecten of juist praktische aspecten). We proberen zo veel mogelijk te profiteren van de gewerkte tijd en geven prioriteit aan het daadwerkelijke leerproces van de persoon als belangrijkste factor voor hun motivatie.

In juni 2022 heb ik mijn masteropleiding Jazzmuziek aan het Prins Claus Conservatorium in Groningen afgerond.
Eerder, in 2018, behaalde ik mijn bachelordiploma muziek aan het Conservatorio Superior de Música del Liceu in Barcelona (Spanje).

I've been living in the Netherlands for over 10 years and I have more than 15 years of professional "live music" experience, including teaching children and adults.

In my opinion, the music discipline is one of the best drivers for a student to learn deeply about themselves.

- In a very calm and friendly environment, the classes are organized and planned according to the students' goals/wishes. As someone who was classically trained from age 6 to 18, I believe this is very important for the students well being.

- If you want to improve your piano technique while also enjoying the lesson and having a sense of improvement every week, then these lessons are for you.

- My classes are for everyone that wants t play anything on the piano. Be it jazz, classical, pop, etc... Also, as a composer and pianist, I will give you a different point of view from other piano teachers.

Ik ben een Spaanse pianist en componist (MMus afgestudeerd aan Codarts Rotterdam in beide richtingen) met al veel jaren leservaring, en ook zeer actief op het gebied van optredens in diverse contexten.

Ik geef privé-pianolessen voor alle niveaus en stijlen (klassiek, jazz, latin, new age, pop...), en ook muziektheorie-, compositie- en improvisatielessen. Mijn lessen onderscheiden zich door hun dynamiek, praktische aanpak en aanpassing aan de behoeften en interesses van de student.

De lessen (live of online) vinden plaats in mijn studio naast de Maastunnel, waar ik een premium stage piano en een top-kwaliteit webcam setup heb.

In class we will work mostly around what the student is looking for, weather that’s just being able to jam along to their favorite tunes or to get good enough to make a living out of drumming. We can work on a variety of different genres from jazz to pop to latin, which ever the student is keen on learning about. I will always look to keep the lessons balanced between music and methodical exercises. Main goal is for everyone to have a good time and leave the classes with a smile on their face :)
