I can set work that can extend, complement and challenge students' current abilities, or I am able to offer support with work that has been set by my student's school.

I have three years' experience teaching full time in New Zealand, and have planned, taught, and assessed students from 5-13 years old.

My goal is to ensure that my students feel successful and positive about their learning. I do this by creating positive relationships with every learner, and making sure I cater to their needs and interests directly through my teaching.

Hi!
I’m Eryn, 27 year old performer/teacher/artist from Wellington, New Zealand.
I’ve just recently moved to London, so I’m currently between roles and raring to get into performing here!

While we’re all stuck inside, I’m keeping busy by teaching singing online. I’d love to discuss how I can help you achieve your goals with some coaching, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch!

When I’m not busy vocal coaching or performing, I can be found in primary schools (when they're open!), teaching the future leaders of the world. I am a qualified and fully registered primary school teacher and am available for private tutoring during this uncharted time. The final string to my bow is my charming artwork - primarily, I doodle the adventures of Claude and Larry, a pair of well-to-do deceased beings, and the things they do.

It’s so much fun to tell someone else’s story (pun intended!). When you sing, it’s good to get some honest and constructive feedback on what is going well, what could be improved on, and how to get there.

I am a supportive and encouraging coach - I love seeing my students succeed. I’m here so you can practice in a safe environment, make some mistakes, learn from them, and come out the other side better than ever!

I will help you work on strengthening your technique so that you don’t injure your instrument. With the stronger technique, you’re less likely to damage your voice, more likely to have vocal longevity, and feel more confident in your ability so that you nail your next performance!

I was born in Istanbul in 1983. I started teaching Turkish while studying Turkish Language and Literature at university. I worked in a language school and at universities. I have been teaching Turkish professionally for more than 16 years. I also taught Turkish for 5 years when I was a university student. In 2018, I obtained a TESOL certificate and also began teaching English.

I teach both adults and children. Creating a comfortable learning environment for my students is one of my top priorities. If you would like to learn Turkish or English in a consistent and structured way, I would be happy to work with you.

I hold firmly to two main principles: creating a comfortable space for learning and building an encouraging atmosphere.

My students often describe me as patient, positive, and well-organised. Over time, I’ve found my own way of making Turkish feel easier, more enjoyable, and more practical to learn.

I love shaping each lesson around my students’ interests, needs, and learning styles. I adapt my teaching to the needs of students with special conditions, such as ADHD and OCD.

In my lessons, you’ll never feel afraid of making mistakes. Before long, you’ll start noticing them on your own and correcting yourself naturally.

Even though I use a communicative approach, my lessons are supported by a solid understanding of grammar, as Turkish has a very different structure.

I use the course book set prepared by Istanbul University. It follows a strategic approach to learning Turkish and includes all language skills—reading, grammar, writing, listening, watching, and speaking—from A1 to C2. All of these skills are essential for conversation.

I teach English for the A1 and A2 levels.

The workbook offers many exercises for homework or revision, and I support the book with my own authentic materials. I also use an interactive board that you can view anytime, and you can edit it as well. Repetition-based speaking practice plays an important role in my lessons.

I speak English well, and a bit of Italian, and I have also studied Persian and German grammar. I am interested in literature.
