My name is Marina, and I am an enthusiastic Greek language teacher based in Greece. I studied Philology (Greek Language) at the University of Athens, and hold a MA in Linguistics. I have also successfully completed numerous programs, seminars, and workshops related to teaching Greek as a second/foreign language, as well as editing and correcting texts.

I come from a family that was born in Argentina, while my great-grandparents were originally from Armenia. The fact that my parents learned Greek as a second language after moving to Greece is what inspired me to help foreign students —just like my parents once were— learn Greek!

Teaching online since 2021, I am fully aware of the importance of each student’s individual needs and goals. That’s why I combine a variety of teaching approaches and methods, with a strong focus on the communicative approach. I use a wide range of materials, including up-to-date coursebooks, songs, online tools, games, audio resources, movies, and TV series.

I am a qualified and experienced mathematics tutor. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2011, I started my career by teaching remedial courses in different schools in Brussels. I then specialized in individual academic support by following educational training at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. I have been giving private mathematics lessons daily for over ten years.
