I am an international academic consultant who assists institutions in the public and private sector worldwide. My field of expertise spans from managing academic centers for local communities to private online tutoring. I have extensive experience in educational settings and hI have undertaken educator and leadership roles in K-12 and university environments. I am the founder of KdemU which is consultancy firm with members in eighteen countries. I have worked as an adjunct professor at the University of Doha for Science and Technology, and as Computer Science Instructor at Academic Bridge Program in Qatar. I have also worked as adjunct professor for the Master's in Educational Technology (State University of New York, in Qatar) and I completed several international assignments for the International Baccalaureate (IB) as teacher trainer, verification visitor, consultant, and curriculum reader. My name is Dani and I am Mexican. I always ask my students about their specific goals and their preferred way of learning a language. In my classes I like to take a conversational approach, but this depends entirely on the needs of my students. I use different books with different didactic material, mostly Aula Plus and Bitacora. I also try to practice all skills: talking, writing and listening. If the student wants it, I leave homework, which I correct during the week before the next lesson, so that we can make the most of the lesson time. I share a word or phrase of the week with my students to build a useful vocabulary. Teaching is my passion. I feel motivated by the progress of my students, which I believe also keeps them motivated. German and Spanish are my native languages and I speak fluent English, I also speak fluent Dutch (with a little accent). Therefore, I can explain concepts in all these languages. However, I prefer to speak Spanish as much as possible, also for the beginners lessons, because I believe that people learn the language better that way.
