About Me

I'm a full-time student at a sixth-form college studying Mathematics, Economics and Physics for my A-levels.

I also work part-time as a Maths and English tutor for KS1, KS2 and KS3 students, teaching them content on core subjects and providing them with resources to complete classwork and practice. They also receive weekly homework assignments while I make weekly reports on their progress to the tutee's parents.

I have exemplary qualifications from secondary school, with GCSE grades ranging from A to A*, especially an A* in Mathematics, Religious Studies and English Literature. I also have a Level 2 BTEC First Award Certificate in Business Studies with a Distinction*. I have predicted grades of A* in Maths, A* in Economics and a B in Physics at A-level standard.

I have excellent work experience in tutoring, as I have been tutoring students at a local tuition centre since the start of the academic year. I've received positive feedback from the director on my reports and have always been dedicated to helping my students make progress every day. I've also completed a teaching work experience program, allowing me to become aware of the methods of teaching, the many ways students learn, behaviour management, lesson planning and much more.

I love to do online tutoring in my spare time. I use Knowunity a lot, where I can post study notes for other students to read and I can also answer their questions on homework assignments that they are stuck with. My work has been rated 3/3 by the team and I've been consistently exemplary with the work I produce there.

Linear Algebra, Geometry, Arithmetic or Calculus Tutoring
If you have trouble understanding concepts from different mathematical areas such as geometry, linear algebra, arithmetic, or calculus, I can help you grasp the ideas by helping you through your preferred learning method. You might be a visual learner and you understand better through examples. Or maybe you need someone to point you to good sources of mathematical problems to solve, such as textbooks or online sources. I have worked in tech and I use mathematics to implement solutions for real life problems all the time. If this sounds interesting to you, let me know.

Tuition Math - Physics - Chemistry - Biology
Graduated with an experience of more than 18 years, I give private lessons in Mathematics - Analysis - Matrices - Statistics - Algebra - Geometry - Physics - Chemistry - Biology and Geology to students of Terminales, Bac 1ère, Seconde, Brevet as well as students of CNED or international CGSE (from grade 8 to 12 IB), competitive examinations and medical university preparatory classes or 1st and 2nd university years for the academic year 2022/2023 either at home or by internet online by the very modern practical virtual class method which includes an interactive board equipped with geometric tools and pens shared with the student on which one can expose and write, plus Skype or ZOOM to communicate. My students' results are marked GOOD, VERY GOOD AND EXCELLENT each year. For more information, do not hesitate to contact me.

Private online mathematics lessons - Qualified and experienced teacher
I am a qualified and experienced mathematics tutor. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2011, I started my career by teaching remedial courses in different schools in Brussels. I then specialized in individual academic support by following educational training at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. I have been giving private mathematics lessons daily for over ten years. The students who follow my private lessons benefit from personalized support. The first session is devoted to an in-depth assessment of the student's mathematical knowledge. The objective is to detect its weak points and understand their origin in order to adapt my courses to its needs. I develop a tailor-made remediation program for each of my students aimed at filling each of their gaps. Over the course of the sessions, the student builds a solid foundation for learning and regains self-confidence. At the same time, I help him acquire a work methodology that allows him to gradually become autonomous in his studies. I have a perfect knowledge of the mathematics program of the College and the High School (from the Sixth to the Terminale). During my formative years, I studied and developed many techniques that make it easier to learn math. The strength of my pedagogical approach lies in my ability to explain in a simple way everything that the student finds complicated. I am passionate about this job because it gives me the opportunity to guide dropout students on the path to success. It is a real pleasure to see them evolve and come to terms with the fantastic world of mathematics. I provide my private lessons in Limoges (at the student's home) or remotely (online via the internet). My distance learning courses take place on an interactive online whiteboard. This board is specially designed to promote student/teacher interaction on the internet. Thanks to this educational tool, my online courses are as effective as home courses. The student only needs an internet connection and a computer, tablet, or smartphone to take advantage of it.

Tutor for Math, Physics, and Mechanical/Material Engineering courses
I hold a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and currently work as a post-doctoral researcher in the Aerospace Engineering Faculty at TU Delft (Delft University of Technology). My extensive teaching experience covers a wide range of engineering courses, including: - Mathematics: algebra, linear algebra, probability, calculus, differential equations, intellectual math, and advanced engineering mathematics. - Mechanical Engineering: Statics, Dynamics, Mechanics of materials, Mechanical design, control, vibration, Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Heat transfer, Engineering drawing, Applied Mechanics, Composite Structures, Flight, Machine Elements, Manufacturing, 3D printing, and more. - Physics: mechanics, momentum and energy, electricity, charge and current, electric and magnetic fields, waves, particle physics, nuclear decay, astrophysics, cosmology, oscillations, etc. - CAD/CAM Software: Autocad, Solidworks. - Mechanical Design Packages: ANSYS, APDL programming, ABAQUS, MATLAB, Symbolic MATLAB, LS-DYNA. My research and teaching interests are diverse, including: • Additive manufacturing • Mechanical metamaterials • Acoustical metamaterials • Electromagnetic metamaterials • Aeroacoustics • Soft matter and soft robotics • Fatigue and fracture mechanics • Experimental mechanics • Multiscale numerical modelling • Biomaterials • Porous materials • Manufacturing of medical devices and implants • Deep learning • Image processing • Topology optimization • Origami and Kirigami structures • Self-folding and self-assembly structures • Tissue engineering • Permeability in porous materials • Fluid-Solid Interaction I understand that not all teachers excel in teaching Engineering and Mathematics courses and explaining their importance to students. Courses with strong mathematical backgrounds may become boring for students who lack a solid mathematical basis. To address this, I take a student-centered approach, starting from the basics to actively engage all students, including those with weaker mathematical backgrounds. I also provide practical examples to demonstrate the real-world significance of what they are learning, inspiring and fostering their interest in the subject matter. If you have any additional questions before starting a class, please feel free to ask me. I am here to assist! :)

As a teaching professional, I have always enjoyed sharing my knowledge. My goal is to provide quality education. I am aware that some topics may seem complex, but often this is simply the result of an inadequate explanation by the teacher. With me, you will discover a real interest in the material! We strive together to achieve academic excellence, overcoming the shortcomings and difficulties encountered by your child. Studies will become a pleasant experience for him. In addition to the courses, I can also help with school orientation, identifying their preferences and highlighting the advantages and benefits of a fulfilling educational ambition. The sessions generally take place according to the following stages: 1️⃣ The first sessions are devoted to the assessment of the student's level in order to detect existing gaps. 2️⃣ Next, we create a personalized plan to address these gaps, including the number of hours of work needed, specific areas to focus on, and appropriate training and development exercises. 3️⃣ We stay in constant contact with the student's class teacher, to keep up to date with the latest requirements and ensure a consistent approach. 4️⃣ Subsequently, I provide exams similar to those that are likely to be asked in class, to prepare the student effectively. 5️⃣ Upon request, I write a regular report, usually monthly, to keep parents informed of their child's progress throughout their course. I adapt my methodology according to the specific needs of each student, thus offering them a personalized and adapted work approach. In addition, I offer crash courses for students preparing for the start of the school year, allowing them to start the year well prepared, with a solid lead on the school curriculum.
