It mainly helps students with learning how variables function and how patterns and different factors applied to a variable equation impact it. As a person that loves math, I have also seen people go through the struggles of learning it as well. From bad teachers, to uncaring tutors, I realized that I don't want other people to go through the same issue. To combat this, I will tutor students in a way that makes them work for the answer and learn long term problem solving skills. I am very easygoing so its completely okay if a student doesn't understand or can't fully grasp the concept at first.
