European Private and EU law tutoring for Bachelor and Master level Law students

As a Bachelor's student, engaging with the law as a discipline for the first time, or a specific area of the law can be very challenging and often a seemingly insurmountable hurdle for many. With this in mind, as a Graduated Bachelor Student of the European Law School at Maastricht University and a Graduated Master's student in the European Private Law program at the University of Amsterdam, I offer my knowledge. expertise and support in overcoming these hurdles, explaining the difficult legal concepts, and clarifying the structure and approach used in many European-focused legal courses.

My approach is direct and hands-on. I will go over the required readings, explain and clarify difficult concepts, go through case law, and prepare for exams. My mentality is to create a personalized plan for each student and cater to their specific needs. The ultimate goal of the tutoring in my opinion is both reaching a satisfactory end goal ( passing the course and getting a good grade), as well as developing legal and organizational skills.

The main areas of law that I will be offering tutoring in are European/Comparative Contract law, EU Substantive law, Consumer Rights Law, Human Rights in Private Law, EU Company law, and European/Comparative Tort law. Through Apperentus I have been providing online tutoring and support sessions for law students. Despite the vast majority of the students that I have provided with tutoring and support were enrolled in the European Law School Bachelor’s Programme at the Maastricht University, I have had the opportunity to tutor and support students from other university programmes, both at a Bachelor’s and Master’s level.

Additionally, I have had the opportunity to tutor on a number of different university courses and legal areas, with EU law and European Private law being the regular legal areas I worked on. That said, notable examples of other legal areas I had the opportunity to tutor in were: Administrative law, Comparative Constitutional Law, Civil and Criminal Procedural law, and Company Law. Moreover, an important focus of my tutoring was the development and strengthening of legal and comprehension skills in students.
