I am a young and energetic teacher who is academically-minded and enjoys discussing topics relating to literature, history, theology and politics. I like to keep my lessons discussion-based when grappling with ideas to ensure the students are able to think for themselves and articulate their understanding of a subject. In addition to this, I like to use writing, reading, performance and videos in my lessons to maximise the student's engagement with the topics, and keep it fun and interesting.

I have experience teaching English, IT and History at a prestigious boarding school in Lebanon, where I taught both classes of children aged 8-11 and one-on-one learning support classes for children aged 8-18. I also have experience teaching children with learning difficulties and naturally, I have received extensive Child Protection Training and DBS Certifications.

I focus also in the main fields of the langugage you are most interested in, as long as you need to improve a specific area. I have 6 years' experience as a teacher of English with a number of institutions, including the prestigious King's College London and the British Council in Egypt, Qatar and Mexico. I have also taught privately, and my students have had particular success with IELTS.

Every lesson of mine includes some vocabulary work, because it is easy to get lazy and not record the new words we hear and understand, but active vocabulary study is essential for continual growth. As one of the most spoken languages in the world, learning Spanish from an early age can allow children not just to ease into the grammar and spelling but also adapt to correct pronunciation. Being billingual from a personal experience has opened me a tremendous amount of opportunities. From hospitality jobs to work experience abroad. Learning Spanish will also aid in the learning of other languages such as French or Italian. During my IGCSE's, I achieved a Grade of A* (96%), and most of it I attribute to my already fluent level in Spanish.

Classes will follow a progressive increase in level and challenge.
My first class will be analysing their current level and how easy the student grasps the language, and from there set weekly goals for them to reach.
My priority is for them to learn as much as possible the accent and correct pronunciation of the words, followed then by learning of sentence structure.
