With over 25 years of academic teaching experience in both Mathematics, Computer Science, and Statistics. I am confident in my ability to contribute meaningfully to teaching. I have taught a diverse range of courses within the Department of Mathematics – College of Science, including both Mathematics and Computer Science Courses, both in English as well as Arabic. Additionally, I have taught Mathematics in the Department of Basic Sciences – Preparatory Year Deanship, preparing students for academic success across scientific disciplines. Earlier in my career, I also taught at the University of Khartoum in Sudan, where I contributed to building foundational skills in both Mathematics and Computing among undergraduate students. I am fluent in English, highly skilled with LMS platforms such as Blackboard, Google Meet, Zoom, MS Teams and committed to student-centered teaching. My approach integrates digital tools, real world examples, and collaborative learning to help students bridge the gap between secondary and higher education. My philosophy of teaching evolved via my long teaching experience. As I reflect on my beliefs regarding teaching and learning, I find that my mission as a teacher is threefold: - To promote positive learning. - To spark the learner’s enthusiasm for learning. - and to provide a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
I am an expert in teaching Calculus, Trigonometry, Algebra, Differential Equations, at all levels from school to university. In Computer Science I have been teaching Java Language for more than 24 years and also I teach Python and OUBuild which is a unique graphical Computer Language, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint.

Mathematics is all about learning basic elements with which you can create explosions, interactions and much more desired computations. It is the heart of every science known and without it, even the text that I am writing right now would not work (recall binary numbers).
I have always been passionate about Math and during primary and high school I attended many Regional Math Olympiads where I usually won the top 5 places. During this period, I got the chance to be trained by university professors and gained knowledge of many complex math concepts at a really young age. This made it possible for me to afterward be able to explain these concepts in a brief and clear manner to my fellow students. I aspire to visualize everything with everyday life and when students see this connection, the puzzle is finally solved. Mathematics is my passion, but I know its not for everyone. Sometimes the material is covered badly in school or at Uni, sometimes you just missed something or do not understand a concept. Whatever the reason might be, my goal is to teach you the material in such a way, that eventually you'll learn how to comprehend new concepts on your own.

During my tutoring I focus on explaining the material in an extensive fashion, so that while solving excercises you develop a connection to the concepts and ideas. Thus not learning a specific "way" of solving a problem, but rather gaining an intuition for it.

One experienced method, which might not be met with the biggest enthusiasm, is extra problems which I would like you to solve at home. I know it is an extra workload, but nothing comes for free. The excercises will be tailored to you and give you the extra needed repetition of the material.

A short note about myself: I am a masters student in pure Mathematics with focus on Algebraic Geometry and Algebraic Number Theory. I have tutored over 40 students in 6 years.
