I am a music student at Durham University and play both violin and piano. I have worked as a tutor and a classroom teaching assistant in the past and have enjoyed working with all my previous students. I am happy to prepare you for either instrumental grades or expand your repertoire by helping you improve your instrumental technique. I can also coach you for several academic music qualifications from grade 5 music theory to A level music.

I have been teaching adult beginners and intermediates to play the violin and viola for 10 years. The focus is very different. One person would like to find relaxation in playing the violin. Another would like to be able to play a certain piece because he likes it. A third has picked up the violin again after a long time.

I have had violin lessons for > 10 years and am currently studying viola at the Conservatory of Bolzano. I have 10 years of teaching experience.
