Hello! My name is Lyn and I am a graduate of Urdaneta City University with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Prior to my experience teaching English as a second language online, I tutored grade school students in my village from 2020 to 2022 during the pandemic, assisting them with English, Filipino, Science, and TLE subjects. This experience further solidified my enjoyment of helping others learn and honed my ability to adapt to different learning styles and create engaging learning activities.

I am certified in TEFL and have experience teaching English as a second language for over a year. I enjoy creating a relaxed and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable to ask questions and explore new ideas. Seeing my students progress and gain confidence in their English skills is rewarding. I'm a patient and understanding teacher who focuses on building confidence and helping students achieve their language learning goals.

Outside of academics, I'm a curious learner myself. I enjoy listening to music, diving into podcasts, and exploring things that pique my interest. I am also currently learning a new foreign language (Korean) on my own. I'm a friendly and approachable person who loves to learn new things. I'm excited to connect with you and see how I can help you on your learning journey!

Native from the Philippines offers an individualized pedagogy to learn the languages of the Philippines: Tagalog and/or Cebuano/Bisaya. My goal is to promote the languages of the Philippines in Europe, in general and in France, helping future Filipino tourists learn the language before traveling to the Philippines, as well as helping European Filipinos learn the language of their parents.

In this course, we will cover the basics of the Filipino language: pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar. Various activities will be organized to promote mastery of sentence construction and improvement of the power of words. Cultural contributions will be included such as fiesta celebrations, food, songs and lifestyle.

For those Filipinos out there who want to learn the basics of the French language in the most comprehensive way possible. I will explain the basics to you in Tagalog or in English, so you will quickly understand how the French grammar works. Every lesson is tailored to each student and includes watching some short animated videos.
