Throughout my career I have done over 3000 interviews and recruited over 500 employees. I was the one who was conducting the interviews and making a difficult decision over the candidates' interview outcome. I know what makes the candidate stand out from the others. I know what you should and should not do before, during and after the interviews.

This class has two parts that cannot be covered in one session. Please see below agenda for Part 1 and Part 2. When you book a session, please specify which part you are interested in and what are your aims. Part 1 is very practical and Part 2 is more theoretical.

English Language for Beginners or Intermediate Level - English Conversation Practice

I am a native Russian speaker who have been living in London for almost ten years. Completed BA and MA degrees in University of Westminster. Passionate about people's development, and therefore will be happy to help people to learn English language.

The fear of failure, being misunderstood and grammar mistakes are the three most common reasons why people are afraid to speak English. Together we can work through this and I promise it is easier than it seems :) When I came to London I had a vocabulary, but was very shy to speak, as I though that people will laugh or misunderstand me. It took a while, but I decided to open up and talk the way I could. Surprise - everyone understood me without any problem.

Here I am today to offer my help and support to you. We will have great conversations on different topics. Sometimes all you need is just 30-45 mins a day to talk things through and to keep up to date with your English.

This class will suit for beginners and people with intermediate knowledge of English. We will focus on the areas that you would like to improve whether it is speaking, writing or listening. A native Arabic speaker and lecturer at the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences since 1994, he offers Arabic courses and private Arabic lessons nationwide for all levels: beginners, advanced, and conversation for professionals. He offers everyday Arabic, standard Arabic, media Arabic, and specialized Arabic, including business Arabic, as well as several dialects: Egyptian, Gulf States Arabic, Jordanian, Lebanese Arabic, Palestinian Arabic, and Syriac Arabic. Other dialects are available upon request.

Participants in this course will have a command of at least 1,500 words of everyday language, both spoken and written (levels A2-B1) and will be able to conjugate simple, three-syllable verbs (so-called strong verbs) in the present, past, future, and imperative tenses, and read non-vocalized texts.
Course content: This is media Arabic, meaning the language used on the internet, in newspapers, magazines, radio, film, in educational institutions such as schools and universities, and in official announcements. This applies from Mauritania/Morocco in the west across the eastern Mediterranean to Oman in the southeast.

The lecturer has created his own scripts for the courses, which are not included in the course price.

Intonation and Melody

When training for a presentation, decide which words and passages deserve extra attention and increase the tone to emphasize these points. If something sounds exaggerated or false, your audience can turn against you.

Volume

A speech is not ordinary conversation, and a presenter can’t convey passion and enthusiasm if the words are delivered softly.

Clarity

Don’t forget to articulate every word, to ensure clarity on your part and understanding on the part of the audience.

Emphasis

Even in the same sentence, emphasizing different words can change the focus of a message. Changing emphasis can alter meaning and/or implication.

Pauses

when pauses are placed in strategic spots in a speech, they can make the difference between a good and an excellent presentation. There are several purposes for which pauses can be used: to give listeners a chance to absorb something that’s just been said; to generate expectations about something that’s going to be said...

Pacing & Tone

If you often get negative feedback about the faster or slower delivery of your speeches, practice delivering a speech sometimes faster and sometimes slower, so you can arrive at a natural pace.
