I’m Miles, a native English speaker from Hawaii. I have experience teaching English for over fifteen years including business English, conversation lessons, and for all ages. Along with working through textbooks and worksheets, I make learning enjoyable with activities like roleplays, comedy, and stories. My lessons consist of various engaging speaking activities and topics, and we also play games and talk about riddles.

I love teaching English because it allows me to meet new people from all over the world, learn about their culture and have interesting conversations. I try to make my lessons fun and engaging while also challenging the students with critical thinking. Born in San Diego California and raised in Hawaii, Miles has studied classical guitar and contemporary music since childhood. His musical experiences have ranged both from performing and recording Reggae, Blues, Rock, Pop, Metal, Afro and World Beat to accompanying Jazz bands and classical ensembles. Miles continues his musical career and studies of Classical-Flamenco guitar in Europe where he has been living and teaching for the past ten years. Teacher since the age of seventeen.

As both an experienced teacher and performance artist, I teach my students of all ages and interests; beginner – advanced:

Hi! I am Martin Menendez, a bachelor student who is looking to teach either Spanish (my native language) or English (I'm bilingual: certified C2 English level) here in Prague, where I will be spending my year.

I have experience teaching both languages, which I have been teaching for the last two years, and I offer lessons for any level!

As a method, I dedicate the first lesson to more or less see the level at which the student is and therefore start developing a plan for future classes, what the student wants and needs and what areas we will spend more time focusing on. I do assign homework each week :)

However, most important is having a friendly, close and personal environment where you see me as an equal and where you can ask anything you want. I also want to learn from you and this city too! I think communication is key and that is why I am available to message anytime any day. Flexibility is one of my assets since I am available from Wednesday to Sunday.
