I am eager to help young people feel confident when writing sociology essays. I will place an emphasis on deconstructing the questions students are given by encouraging them to reword the question to offer a different perspective on it. In addition, the main aim of a sociology essay is to convince the reader more and more of the argument you have claimed in the introduction. I want to help students do this by helping them follow the PEAL structure, i.e. Point, Evidence, Analysis, Link back to question. I have found this a very effective and coherent way of structuring an essay. I have studied Sociology for 7 years now, at AS/A Level, Undergraduate Level and now at MSc level at LSE. I was awarded First-Class Honours in my undergraduate as well as 'Best Dissertation of the year' by the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. I am seeking a potential career in academia so I truly feel passionate about engaging with the lesson plans on this platform and helping students feel confident in their essay writing.

Assisting with structure, referencing, possible sources to include, and checking spelling and grammar I'm currently undertaking a PhD in Global Environmental Politics at the University of Lincoln (UK) but based in Amsterdam. I have previously completed an MSc in Environmental Policy at the London School of Economics (LSE, UK) and a BA in Philosophy at the University of Bristol (UK). IOs can be especially daunting, the idea of speaking for 10 minutes straight in essay format scared me too but I did it and received a 7, and I am here to provide you with tips and advice on how to achieve this.
