I’m Jeri, 33, Irish, and have been living in Uruguay for the past year. Full time, I manage a sales and project management team in Microsoft’s consultancy division, and I have been teaching English for over 10 years.

I have been a private tutor for 11 years now, in addition to 3 years of academic teaching (undergraduate seminars) at the University of Leeds during my PhD (Shakespeare Studies). Although English Literature, and its Renaissance period especially, is my natural forte, I have had over 30 long-term tutees across English Literature, Theatre Studies, History, Sociology, Psychology, Childhood Studies, and French and Spanish.

Additionally, I teach English as a second language. As such, I can offer support in rewriting and reworking academic assignments into standard formal English.
