- In welcher DAW findet der Unterricht statt? -
Ich habe jahrelang professionell in FL Studio, Logic Pro, GarageBand und Ableton Live gearbeitet. Wenn du diese DAWs von Grund auf lernen willst, bist du bei mir genau richtig. Aber profesionelle Musik entsteht nicht durch die DAW, sondern durch dein Wissen über Arrangement, Sounddesign, Komposition, Drum Programming, Mixing & Co. Deshalb unterrichte ich auch in Cubase, Reason, Pro Tools, Studio One, Bitwig, Reaper... und vielen anderen. Solange du die Basics in einer dieser DAW kennst, zeige ich dir alles was du brauchst.

- Wie funktioniert das Online-Mentoring? -
Wenn du nicht in Berlin bist, nutzen wir Zoom für eine nahtlose Zusammenarbeit. Damit teilst du ganz einfach und sicher deinen Bildschirm, Maus, Tastatur und Soundkarten-Ausgang mit mir, als säßen wir gemeinsam an deinem Projekt. Keine Sorge, vor unserer ersten Session bekommst du von mir eine kurze Anleitung, um alles flott einzurichten. Ein paar Tage vorher checken wir nochmal gemeinsam vorab, ob alles funktioniert.

- Was kann ich erwarten? -
Vergiss YouTube-Clickbait und geheime „Hacks“. Erfolg in Musik kommt nicht durch magische Tricks sondern von regelmäßiger Praxis. Ich biete keine schnellen Shortcuts, sondern etwas viel wertvolleres: individuelle Begleitung, klares Feedback und einen strukturierten Plan. Nicht jede Session wird dein Leben verändern – doch der Prozess als Ganzes schon. Dein Erfolg wächst mit deiner Kontinuität. Um solche Durchbrüche zu ermöglichen bevorzuge ich Schüler die regelmäßig in sich investieren wollen.

Als Musikproduzent, Mixing Engineer und Songwriter habe ich in den letzten 16+ Jahren vielen Stars geholfen ihre Vision umzusetzen. Parallel dazu unterschrieb ich bei Universal, lernte die Business-Seite als A&R kennen, schloss an der SAE ein Diploma in Audio Engineering ab und dozierte selbst an den renommiertesten Bildungseinrichtungen wie dem Abbey Road Institute oder der Akademie Deutsche POP. Dabei habe ich meine Leidenschaft entdeckt: Mit meinem Mentoring-Programm Fritz Hits (ehemals TRAX) angehenden Produzenten zu helfen ihre Träume zu verwirklichen! I am a music producer and film score composer from London living in Berlin. I currently tutor privately and teach at the EMS - Electronic Music School Berlin. I have taught everyone from complete beginners with no music theory knowledge, to experienced DJ's trying to up their game. I am currently preparing to teach a masterclass at my school that will cover advanced mixing, mastering and sound design.

I work in Ableton and I have made or engineered everything from industrial techno to dubstep, acid rock to pop. Der ursprünglich aus Italien stammende, aber in der Schweiz geborene Samuel alias Luca Torre machte Anfang 1996 seine ersten Schritte in der elektronischen Musik und entdeckte für sie eine echte Leidenschaft. Von Trip-Hop bis Techno, auch architektonischere Klänge wie Drum'n'Bass oder Brackcore. Luca organisierte und nahm an mehreren Veranstaltungen in der Schweiz teil, unter anderem im Loft Lausanne oder in der Dachkantine in Zürich, wo er begann, sich einen Namen zu machen.

Er kam 2004 nach Berlin und widmete sich weiterhin der Musik, indem er Toningenieur und Sounddesigner wurde. Sein Interesse an Synthese und modularen Systemen führte ihn dazu, für die berühmte Firma Arturia zu arbeiten, wo er dann Presets entwickelte. Er arbeitete auch in der Filmindustrie, wo er an verschiedenen Projekten beteiligt war. Führte einige Digital- und Vinyl-Veröffentlichungen auf mehreren Labels durch und begann dann mit verschiedenen Künstlern zusammenzuarbeiten.

2016 steht endlich sein großes Labelprojekt an. Nach mehreren Jahren des Nachdenkens leitet und besitzt er schließlich das Label Clock'Art Records, wo große Überraschungen auf ihn warten.

Seine Leidenschaft, sein Talent und die Anerkennung berühmter Techno-Künstler, die an seinen Projekten teilgenommen haben, stärken seine Karriere derzeit.

Luca ist ein absolut vielseitiger und avantgardistischer DJ. Er ist ein wahrer fanatischer Sounddesigner und Architekt neuer Klangkonstruktionen. Er ist ein wahrer Künstler, der uns noch viele Jahre lang beeindrucken wird.

2019 baute er Clock'art Music auf:

I'm a DJ and music production instructor with 15 years of experience, and the founder of DJ School Berlin. I also run my own label and organise events.
My classes take place in a relaxed, intimate atmosphere, and are fully focused on your needs and goals. I teach both fundamental concepts and creative techniques, while supporting you in the development of your artistic project

I also compose music for media (trailers, films, ads, games, etc) and perform live focusing on sound exploration and experimental performance.
This means we can absolutely work on different musical genres or more unconventional, creative approaches.

Passionate about dancefloor energy, it’s behind the decks and my machines that I feel most alive — and I truly love passing that on.
I perform regularly in Berlin in clubs such as Watergate, Sisyphos, Hoppetosse, RSO, Golden Gate, etc., as well as abroad, most recently in Belgrade, London, Amsterdam, Paris, etc.

Sessions usually last 2 hours, and can take place face-to-face or online, solo or in a group.

. Group sessions (1-3) are friendly, less expensive, more dynamic in terms of learning and interesting because you get to observe another student correcting TPs or or discussing techniques, which leads to valuable insights.

I'll also accompany you and advise you on the purchase of your equipment/plugins/tools.

Classes take place either in my studio in Kreuzberg, equipped with 2 CDJs, 2 vinyl decks, workstation, synths, drum machines and controllers or online with screen sharing with dynamic practice, TPs and follow up.
They are a mix of theory and practice, and we also cover the values and precepts of this art form, giving you lots of pro tips and tricks, as well as creative goodies (VSTs, effects, personal racks)
